I Love Pellici's and thank God "young " Nev and the family continue with their unique tradition ! Everone's always given a great welcome God Bless them .
He seemed a lovely man Nevio Snr. He used to serve the Krays their breakfast every day and by all accounts there was never any trouble, as they respected Nevio and his family too much. That bit in Legend ( the joke comedy about the Krays) when Cornell and his mates threatened the Krays in Pellici was crap.
Sadly, many of these classic cafes are a dieing breed....So many have closed down, or have been refitted and lost all of their previous charm and character......visit them whilst you can!

Tell me about it. Arthur's in Dalston closed in May 2018. I was sad to see it go but that's what the owner wanted.
