I never knew I needed this but I need this. This is a great alternative take of what if Aosth and satam crossed over. It does feel something different from even the Archie Sonic universe. Also it would be cool if Snively, Scratch, and Grounder were all together. Also bonus is that Tails is more active.
OMG, this show would have been awesome if they made it a sequel series to Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog. I loved the designs for Scratch, Grounder, Coconuts, and Breezzie in this style. Why do some things never turn out the way we want them to?
I always wondered why the Swatbots weren't Robotic animals in the original SATAM series when I was a kid, their towering stature did make them a lot more menacing though
Good news! There is already a Team Sea3on! This is just an AU for the hypothetical of some aosth characters being present in the already existing SatAM, and how they would've been handled.

I believe they work for him, but only after being coerced and then betray him later on? Would those 3 be considered allies of Sonic afterwards, or would they just kind of do their own thing, not really siding with anyone and only working with Sonic, because he's an enemy of Robotnik?
They were originally mobians who willingly signed up for roboticization, because yknow, underdog characters got it bad, they wanna get back at those who belittled them. Also, they kinda worked for Chuck before, then sided with Robotnik once they heard of his grand scheme. So Robotnik, with his classic favoritism manipulation, plans to roboticize them with more features and strength and all that, being his three strongest robian assistants. A call back to how Aosth Robotnik says "you'll be the best hedgehog hunting badnik ever built" or something like that in the first episode. So the 3 are under the impression that the roboticizer still needs work on the free will thing, and Robotnik isn't going full out world domination mode. Once the time comes, Coconuts is able the jank the coding a bit so that they keep their free will, but at the cost of their memories. In the present, they're usually seen scouting Robotropolis for loose mobians, setting up a Sonic trap, leading teams of Swatbots if Snively isn't available, or an extra pair of hands up front. Coconuts has been cast to scrap clean up, because of course. Really though, it's because as a mobian, he pretty much did what Snively already does. Season 2, after the Blast to the Past episode, Sonic tries to jog their memories back, which was like the first scene I ever did of this. They're still on the lawful evil side I'd say, but they're only teaming up with Sonic for taking down the Doomsday Machine. They don't want Robotnik to have that much power. Also, they start to show genuine concern for Snively by season 2, since they all get treated the same when something goes wrong. But he's organic, and can actually get hurt. So before the Doomsday arc, at least one of them will be up front to make sure Robotnik doesn't go too far. They're also the ones responsible for giving Snively the idea of overthrowing Robotnik if Doomsday were to fail. By season 3, they kinda get stuck between what side they want to be on. They're basically double agents at this point. They help Robians snap out of it, and give relative directions to the nearest Freedom Fighter group, but also help Snively rebuild a more improved Robotropolis.
@@masquaylathesplendid7516 I hope rocket gets to keep his super speed (in the original series had him talking fast after his first appearance so I like the idea of him being able to switch between the to extremes of speed. Either going incredibly slow or incredibly fast, although not at sonics full speed. With some training he could use that switch to his advantage in a fight).
I don't know if this is warranted, but I heard one way to improve your drawing is to do your sketches in some other colour than black. Try sketching in red or whatever, it psychologically helps you to feel like you can edit it to make it look better.
Neat Concept for A Hybrid of 2 of the 3 "1990’s Sonic DIC Animated TV Series" (Adventures & Saturday Mornings), almost seems as good as The Archie Sonic Comics which also was partially based off of those two sonic tv series but also incorporating elements of the classic and modern games, more so with Archie Comics; what can I say, I do my research. (Imagine if one of them actually had an Animated Adaptation?!) You know, I feel like this leans more towards SatAM then Aosth! What would you actually call this version of "The American Sonic 1993 DIC Animated Series", How about "Sonic the Hedgehog Presents: Resistance Adventures"?

(Icr where I got that part specifically, but the concept of Aosth's variety of fleshed out side characters in SatAM was a big inspo for this au) But ABC said nah split em up for weekdays and weekends. The original plan was more like how the first 20 issues of Archie Sonic went.

So the original badniks from the other Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon were supposed to be used. They added Swatbots in the original story.
