How To Photograph Make Up Blobs | Beauty Product Photography Styling Textures

In this video I'm doing some product photography of makeup swipes, or makeup swatches. They go by different names but it's the idea of smearing makeup, or skincare products on a white background to show the color, consistency, and texture of a makeup product. I'll also be showing you a few makeup product photography tips along the way.

The specific item I’m using is an artist pallets. I got mine at Michael’s craft store. But, any flat acrylic item will work.
