As some people have already pointed out, none of these sounds are even close to the Breathe synth. You're playing the riff yes, but the sounds aren't "based" on Breathe at all. (Running a guitar - instead of a human voice - through a vocoder would actually be closer in sound)
@@blackkPiano The description says they're "based on" that riff, so it's a bit misleading. It's like playing "Smoke On The Water" on a ukulele and saying the sound is "based on" Smoke On The Water.

@@Dhakadice I don't think it's incongruous or misleading at all, the intro to Breathe isn't some super complex thing Liam made using vocoders, guitars and Akai magic, it's a pulse wave, passed through some filters with one controlled by a an envelope and another by an oscillator in a very similar way to what is being shown here with the SH-101 and the signal flow is much clearer on a machine like that than the digital ones that came later on. Whack the high pass filter and some distortion over the top and you could get extremely close, the only thing that might be a bit more difficult (but I'm sure someone could do it) is the pluck that makes it seem to be coming from a guitar. I'd put money on the sound being a Korg Prophecy because that's the kind of sound it's very good at out of the box, I do wonder if he bothered messing with filter sources and just used the arpegiator with key trigger on. To me that makes Prodigy tracks so much better, he doesn't need to have lots of fancy effects or weird synths to distract people because the music is so well put together that he just doesn't need to, if that makes sense.
