Thanks lieser, yea i will always tell it like it is!! as you know i buy 99% of my own tools!! crom tools are nice, small, new Co!,i expecting they will grow over time!! thanks lieser!!
Crom is in the house again! These are nice to have. They've saved me from having to take more parts off than needed to get to certain fasteners. Great video Jeff!
Thankyou for what you do reviewing tools. I'm about to go into the automotive industry for the first time in 2025 and I am looking for tools that are good but won't break the bank. Merry Christmas to you.
I saw a video of some guy with a crazy chain of like 10 universals and adapters to get at something on the bulkhead behind the engine. As soon as he puts some torque on it, something in the middle snaps. 😂
I've been buying Koken pinless swivels off Amazon. They're amazing but expensive, so I just have to get one at a time when I can afford it. All I lack is the 1/2" now. But I like Icons swivels too. They're made from chrome-moly steel, and the pins are welded, not pressed in. They don't flop around, nice and firm rotation without binding or being too stiff. I've been really happy with all Icons socket stuff. I can't wait to see how their gen2 ratchets are. I'm holding off on getting a long 3/8" flex-head for one of theirs. Hopefully, one day, I'll be all upgraded again, but this time with mostly Koken Z-series socket and ratchet tools.
I’d never heard of Crom before. One difference I noticed between universals is how the profile meshes at full angle lock, and how it affects the ease of rotation at full lock.
U Joint socket adapters are SOO underrated. When you need them they are worth there weight in gold. But finding good ones suck. If they are too floppy its a pain to get the socket in place, too stiff and they are hard to use. But I'm sure I'm just preaching to the choir here.
Thats why im picky about sponcers,i wouldnt want you to buy something i wouldnt buy myself!! i like the knurling on these!!! thanks walter for taking a gander!!
The Crom tools look like nice stuff. Your honest reviews of tools is most appreciated Jeff!

I don't remember the last time I used a chrome swivel adapter. Even for hand tools, the impact ones I feel are much smoother and don't flop over.

They look nice. I don't find myself using universals like that much at all. Maybe it's time to try it again. The rail looks skookum.
Hello Starship, its all about options!! thanks as always!!!
Morning, Jeff
Hello mark!!!
I’d never heard of Crom before. One difference I noticed between universals is how the profile meshes at full angle lock, and how it affects the ease of rotation at full lock.
Hi my friend, thier a fairly new brand out of california!!
With that rail, it looks like it could be part of the Craftsman V-series socket sets.

Thats why im picky about sponcers,i wouldnt want you to buy something i wouldnt buy myself!! i like the knurling on these!!! thanks walter for taking a gander!!
Knurling is always a ➕️ on all tools i think.
Hello martin i hear ya!! i love knurling!!thanks my friend!!
I preffer the knurling on the titan tool spring loaded/ Die Hard. What do you all think?
Ive heard thier good, but dont own them yet!!!
@jefftovani5535 Titans are overpriced in comparison to DIEHARD.
I used to use universal all the time, then I ended up buying the socket universals, they are good for between the header to get to a spark plug
Thanks mike for joining in,yes socket universals come in handy,Crom has those as well!!
