Williams is snap-on 's industrial brand. You find them more at plants, stock yards and industrial settings. Sold directly to the company; they are good enough to do the job and cheap enough to be replaced when lost or missing. Great video Jeff! Thank you!
Great review Jeff , l always got along with my Williams tools , l can't remember ever breaking any in all the years and using 1 inch drive. Air lmpacks and 10 foot cheater pipe . Here is a message for WILLIAMS TOOL MAKERS. COME BACK TO THE 🇺🇸 THANKS AGAIN JEFF
Now that is a set I would love to win in your raffle, LOL. Naw, they cost too much , but I love these wrenches, even over a Snap on brand or any other. Williams really makes nice tools and durability is outstanding , worth every penny and Thank you for showing them , Jeff.
Hello again, Jeff Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I agree with you about the Lazar etching. For that price, I would expect better. Again thank you 👌
Jeff, these wrenches look incredible! They appear incredibly sturdy and reliable. I agree that the engraved labeling is the way to go. and yes - I am the 2nd to comment :)
Love the Matco Ratchets, maybe even trade a body part? Lets not push it that far..Lol Really like the looks of the williams .. cheaper allturnative to the Blue Points that can be nearly double in price. Great Upload Jeff. Looking forward to next one as well as Fridays episode.
Jeff, these wrenches certainly were worth the look. I was just thinking wouldn't it be nice if someone sold a two pack 10mm and 13mm flex head wrenches. I bet they'd sell millions. Also, do you hug your heater each morning? I know I would. My weeks going great so far...hope yours is too! Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂P.S. I'm starting to drool over that purple handled ratchet!
I agree with the head size and I'm not a fan of Lazer etching but it's the sing of the times I guess but fit and finish is spot on and it's reversible that's a rare and nice feature they do sound smooth a little pricey in my opinion for the drawbacks definitely worth it if you can find them on sale thanks for sharing Jeff take care my friend
I regularly use the fixed-head version of these wrenches, branded as Blue Point. These are the previous generation of Snap-On wrenches, just made in Taiwan 👍
Williams makes some nice tools. They probably use laser etching to keep the cost down. I prefer that the manufacturer name and sizes are stamped. It was almost 60 degrees here in CT today. The old pellet stove is getting a break.
Williams (or Other) most likely makes these castings for other manufacturers as well ; if the sizes and name is stamped in, they can't be sold to other brands. I ordered that Capri ratchet set also; expected any day now!
You would think for a $200 set of 12 wrenches they'd at least stamp the info into the side of the beam rather than laser etching that will wear off over time. Even the cheap Duratech ratcheting wrenches are stamped and they still haven't given me an excuse to get rid of them.
I guess but as long as they put the money into an even more important feature, and passed the savings on to us (ha), it could be worth the trade-off (in theory, to some users). For example, to me having serviceable switchable flex heads is worth more (to me) than roll stamping, if at or around the same price.
@@ToolinAroundTools The reversing feature is nice, but nevertheless, if you use the tool regularly that cheap laser etching will wear off and it just makes them look cheap even though they cost more than the sets I already have, one of which cost less than $50. I guess I have little tolerance for companies getting chincy and then still charging a premium price.
One thing I don't have yet is flex ratchets ..my uncle has tge older gear wrench version there much thinner in design than all these thick new ones ..I have few non sets of them I found on jobs but can't find them elsewhere
Hey Jeff, with the heads being serviceable that may be the reason they have to be larger than their competitors? I've got some Williams adjustable wrenches. They make pretty good stuff.
You should check out the new USA made Williams ratcheting wrench set that just came out a couple of months ago 👍 Those Taiwanese made Williams wrenches are trash. I'd rather have a gearwrench, tekton, Capri, or, icon set. Basically any other set lol. I wonder if Snap on will ever come out with their version of a flex head ratcheting wrench set. It sure took them forever to come out with a new design of regular ratcheting wrenches.
For me, not out of question at this price. It wouldn’t take much research to determine if these are the best thing at the price point, or the only thing in it’s bang for buck category. Please revisit them after you put them through their paces. A huge part of the calculus is the stated warranty, and actual customer service experience.

was wondering about these but your video confirmed the bulkiness
Thanks Jeff! Those are a sweet set. - reversible, rebuildable and so on…nice!
I love the Williams tools I have, they are quality tools. I’m sure these wrenches are no different. Good review!!
Fine lookin set. Was surprised to see the reversing switch on flexhead. Thanks Jeff and keep em comin

I wished more reputable companies would make these types of ratcheting wrenches with a box end instead of the open end on them.
I like Williams, but I'm with you, i prefer stamping. At least they did etch both sides. Great review. Thanks Jeff!

Great review Jeff. Being serviceable is a plus for me. Their definitely a little bulky especially the reverse lever. Thanks Jeff
I agree, the laser etching does make the tool look cheap. Thanks for sharing.
I agree with your opinion on the laser etching. Looking forward to the giveaway.
"williams in the house, lets take a gander"
Thanks brent for checking in!!
Awsome tools Jeff, I love tools.
I like Williams alot, I have a few of their tools
Good brand toraarhus!! thanks for joining in!!
Those look just like my bluepoint set! Love them, used the 18 doing front struts on our yukon.

I still want one of those Matcos. May have to order one.

Yea im sure your rite about them trying to keep cost down!! 60° wow!!!
Flex head with a reverse lever I'm interested. Thanks for the overview!
Very nice being able to clean, lube, and rebuild if needed. Now how do I get the Boss to agree I need more wrenches... 😂😂
That a nice set
Jeff, my blue point ratcheting flex reversible wrench se BOERMF712A. has all of that and a keeper function on one set of the 12 point box end.
Williams (or Other) most likely makes these castings for other manufacturers as well ; if the sizes and name is stamped in, they can't be sold to other brands.
I ordered that Capri ratchet set also; expected any day now!
Another interesting video. I still need to get reversible ratcheting combination wrenches. It sounds like you still prefer Your Blackhawks.
I think the Williams ratcheting wrench set is the same as the Bluepoint set sold on the Snap-on truck
It is...
@@victorhoyt4352they're only $695 (cad) from the Snap-on truck 😂
@victorhoyt4352 they're $695 (cad) from the Snap-on truck. Amazon has them for $423 (cad)

@ that’s definitely fair, just don’t violate your own criteria.
Williams is budget snap on..alot of guys like them better
Seth thier built like tanks!!

That’s interesting. I would have thought they’d put the lower tooth count in the larger wrenches for added strength 🤷♂️
I’m not a 100% but I think JH Williams makes snap on,but these wrench seem better quality
There pretty nice
Exactly the same as the blue point

Hi Jeff 👋, was just wondering if there’s a difference in strength in tooth count? Such as with the Williams 60, 72, 80 tooth.
Found some old halfinch ward sockets at dumpster otherday while airing up trailer tire...someone tossed them
Probably better then lots of new brands, hang on to them!!thanks for sharing Seth!!
Nice!
Lets get out the bingo roller and only put my name in there so you can give me those Jeff
Hi John, this should be a fantastic giveaway!!! its getting alot of interest!!
Nice
Have you (or anyone on here) ever had to warranty these? Curious how easy it is.
Hi John i havent had to warranty any williams tools yet,but i havent heard anything negative!!
13 mm most used for me 8 10 12 13 14 16 17 18 11/16 and up
Contract mail has been terrible here
I like Williams , to bad the head is so big.
1st😂
Awesome mechtech!!!!!
I think, project farm did a video on this. I might be wrong but they didn't do good. What is your take?
Way too expensive for imported tools. There are better options out there that are imported that are less money and just as good.
