I have a friend who bought me one a couple of years ago. In its case hanging in my hutch.

I think that something like this would make for a nice retirement gift to someone in the field of mechanics, but other than that, I don't know.

Nice looking ratchet, Jeff! I still don’t own any ICON ratchets…

Every once in a while they run these on sale. I want one, but tend to opt for tools I use over decorative pieces. Now, I have a better area where I can display things for fun. I have a large collection of antique tools and large saws. I planned on putting my first ratchet in a decorative shadow box. Maybe I have enough room to squeeze one of these in. I better just go buy it because if I don't and it went away, I would be bummed I didn't get one.

Great upload jeff, to each his own/on, we all like different stuff, I have never understood stuff like this.Money is to hard to come by to just look at.Have know problem spending 2 or 3 times their cost on flexhead ratchet im gona use. Never the less im glad jeff covered it and gave heads up to the ones that do want one.

I grabbed them when they first came out and went on sale. They just sit in the top of the box for looks and laughs- 1/4 and 3/8 is all I found😆😆

As far as sockets go. Its funny cause i have a socket brand you may never heard of. I only i have 1 socket by them. I dont wanna give away too much as if i find it in my tool box i will make a video on it. N when i bought this socket back in 99ish it wasnt cheap…..ok i said too much already lol

They never made a 1/2 inch i don’t know why? Those new pliers are out of stock by me but are going for crazy money on ebay

I’ve got the 1/4” and use it as my primary 1/4” ratchet. No problems with it so far.

Definitely waiting for the Gen 2 ratchets to come out even though they said it could be up to a year

This is so cool. How is it compared to a regular chrome icon ratchet? Just the same thing but gold? Or is it higher quality?

Luckily I was able to pick up those icon Pliers had to drive to the next Harbor Freight about 40 minutes away
