You know Jeff, I really appreciate your reviews because 90% of RUclips tool reviews are from people who don’t “really” use tools. They may like them or what not, but you truly learn a tools limitations when you rely on them to get a job done. It’s great to find someone who loves tools, but also uses them. 😂😂 There are so many reviewers that think they are a mechanic because they change their own oil or maybe do a brake job every now and then. 😂🤣😂. I respect people getting involved but I don’t value their limited perspective on tools. 😂

It sure took them a while to release 1/4" impact stuff. Hopefully some 1/4" impact swivels are in the works too. Tell them they need to made mid length chrome and impact sockets in 1/4" and 3/8" Jeff. They'd bury the competition if they did that. They'd sell out the 1st week, guaranteed!!

Im an autotech student and would love that ratchet, I only have one kolbalt 6-inch 3/8th but looking at Icon or tekton for flex heads. I definitely will tune in tomorrow.
Not sure on Icon, but Tekton has been great so far for me while being in the aviation field and with their 10% reward on every purchase, price points and an awesome warranty so I hear (I haven't broken anything from them yet) they are hard to beat in my book.

That Matco ratchet is beautiful. I’ve been upping my tool game hard this last month because my mechanic ability has always put food on the table. I am a store manager but the way the economy and minimum wage hikes have terrorized the economy, I am really thinking I will be swinging wrenches real soon. It’s where my heart is anyway. 😂
I will say their gearless ratchets are quite a bit better than these ratchet wrenches appear to be. I have all three sizes and used to have a few Snap On ones I actually got rid of because the Zero Degree ones had smaller heads and actually seemed to have much less back drag.

The size of that box end is pretty ridiculous lol. I'm not a fan of gearless ratcheting mechanisms at all. I bought a 3/8 gearless ratchet years ago and I think I've only used it once. I like audible notification that the gears have... that way I'm certain the fastener is making progress
My worst purchase was an evap connector disconnect tool that you use your fingers with only. The best was the lisle remote evap connector disconnect tool! 65 something dollars on Amazon

I think Tractor Supply released a set of zero/toothless ratchets under their Barn Star brand name. I bought the set. I don't even know what happened to them other than I remember one falling apart simply as a result of being tossed around a bit in my tool box. I think that technology is a case of "just because you can doesn't mean you should." I like the click of a ratchet---humans care about how a product feels in the hand...especially a hand tool.
Yea, I just haven't been impressed enough to purchase any of the gearless ratchets and wrenches. If I get any of them, it would probably be the Olsa. Just to try one out, or be able to say that I have one and show people. Happy New Year to everyone.
Jeff if you do sockets have you ever seen sealey black series lock on sockets I have them here in rainy England they are mid range but are amazing for the price😊

Gearless anything is a bit of a gimmick. Coming from someone who owns a Mac USA made ratchet and a Snap on. I wanted to like them. They don’t hold up to torque. Both were warrantied. Now they’re dust collector’s lol. “Conversation” peaces when someone wants to look at my ratchet drawer.
I commented on Capri tools post about this channel a week or so ago and they replied. I told them they need to sponsor this channel so let's hope it's capri!! 😂
