I'll say it again. Jakartan Teenage Riot is a killer band name.
I should’ve used that instead of my the band I’m startings name
I give people fake band names all the time....
You'll find that, I've heard of everything type...
There's been some weird goings on with concerts this year. I was at the Death Grips show that went viral on reddit where idiot fraternity freshmen threw glowsticks at the band until they walked off stage and ended the show prematurely. I don't know exactly what it is but some people have lost any sense of self-awareness. It'd be one thing if they were only doing it to themselves but seeing it affect other people is just really sad.
Dude, you were at the Fay show? I'm also from around there but I bought tickets to the Dallas one before the Fay one was announced. The Dallas one was just as nuts but nothing happened to the band there
@@404sutibi7 yeah I also went to the Tulsa show before the Fay one was announced and it was totally fine. It's so weird
ive just found it comical so many bands are getting mad theyre getting shit tossed at them. If you see something like ICP or an opener to ICP people don't like theyre expected to pelt the stage with whatever. And bands like Ministry for years since the songs were political for many years played behind like 4 layers of metal fencing and it would smash bottles and stop shit from getting thrown up there. NIN did it for awhile at certain points too. I think its just more people don't realize that culture as much or the bands that enable it. Every show I've ever been to people are at least throwing drugs up on stage. More underground shows there's not much of a stage to begin with so theyre just surrounding the band.. hardcore grindcore punk bands will occasionally fight someone since theyre so close. I think its funny its happening to bands I dislike. Like Tila Tequila at the gathering or Riff Raff at the Gathering crying about shit hitting them in the face.
@@nwerd7584 I've been to more shows than I can count, and have yet to see any kind of stuff being thrown to the point where the show stops or the artist has to address it. I think the issue now is that so many people have goddamn main character syndrome. Everyone wants some kind of bullshit internet clout to the point that random people will just act out for no reason. It's shitty.
@@diabeticmonkey Go watch some of the ministry days when all the songs were aimed at George Bush, People would throw endless shit. Juggalos specifically pelt acts with shit. Tons of artists throw stuff like beach balls in the crowd then get shocked when stuff gets thrown back... If you go see GWAR, that's really all you have to say is GWAR. shits flying everywhere.
Also almost every concert I've gone to people are throwing joints at the stage. it doesn't hurt but its still throwing shit. Its part of the fun and release.
For Instance Yelawolf at the gathering of the juggalos played in to it.. dodged some soda bottles then said, hit me bitches, and it became a game to pelt him as he matrixes everything.
Same festival tila tequila got sacked in the face and quit the show. Riff Raff went on got shit thrown at him ran and cried shut down show. IDK what bands you see butt extreme metal and rap has anything and everything flying around.
4:03 needs a DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Sting.
This reaction video is riotously funny. You are right - rioters were accidentally cleaning. Great funny take on a wild time.
I was actually planning on covertly--not really whatsoever--attending the event since I used to live in Jakarta, though I might not be of age to attend such a show.
But after realizing the shitfest that went down, I was like: Yup, classic Jakarta. Any slight mishap's gonna evolve into an event-sized problem.
I am a Local Hand in my area. Right off the bat, structural instability is a legitimate reason. It not only puts the band in danger and the crowd in danger but also puts all the local hands and road crew that have to lower it and take it apart in danger. I'd walk off a gig (and so would all my coworkers) if they didn't shut down after coming to the decision that it's unsafe. Also if shit was bouncing like that, something was definitely wrong. That one thousand percent should not be happening.
They only made it 11 songs into their set before having to cancel? Aww man I can see why they rioted 🙄
Dang scene kids
Rule 1. Nerver play Jakarta. That's the only rule.
_pats you on the shoulder_ What if I told you they're bringing their NexFest, this time back to Ancol, my dear friend?
"Riot"? GnR did it better in St Louis '91 and Montreal '92. 😉😁😁😁😁😁
SAN BERNARDINO MENTIONED 💯 inland empire slam dancers on top 🦍
BMTH fans are wierd
thats so awesome 👍
HAHAHAHAH
Posers… can’t even riot properly. Yes the fire pits at San Bernadino way more epic
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love BMTH but I must admit, my brother started a better a riot at Mr Blobby land two decades ago.
So far, that is hands down the best comment I've read this year XD
