ISSUES' Skyler Acord shows off the bass gear he uses on tour!
Who should we film with next?
He's one of the few dudes in the scene who actually play their heart out on stage. I don't know what's up with most bands being scared to break a sweat on stage, they look like they're jamming in their bedroom half the time.
ISSUES, as a whole, always goes all out!
Sky is such an adorable human 💕
:D
If anybody needs a sig from Spector it's Sky..
That'd be cool!
Well, you must be happy now
Yess. i love him so much
He's awesome!
Apparently he's touring with Twenty One Pilots since Issues is on hiatus
DO AJ DO AJ
I replied to another request for AJ with the following: "Hopefully AJ's is coming soon. We filmed one, we're just waiting on a final clearance from ISSUES' team that we can post the video. Usually we don't need clearance, but there was a minor detail that needed to be worked out." Keep your fingers crossed that it gets cleared for posting!
Early alex webster signature emg 40dc and emg bqc pre before he started having all of his basses set up with his signature pickups and darkglass tone capsule. Love my spectors have 3 so far.
🤘
I love how he tricked the camera zoom at 3:25. Didn't even noticed it.
Cool interview!
This new camera rig we have has the smoothest zoom, it's crazy!
Sick! Would love to see aj and josh🤘🏾
Hopefully AJ's is coming soon. We filmed one, we're just waiting on a final clearance from ISSUES' team that we can post the video. Usually we don't need clearance, but there was a minor detail that needed to be worked out.
Hell yes finally somebody smart enough to actually play spector's on tour I love the basses that I have from them you should go check out late 80s early 90s NS2A
😀
oof, 135 for G# seems a bit light, even for a 35 inch bass
If you're not playing super fast metal riffs, and play with a relatively light touch, it's fine. Dan briggs from btbam also uses 135 for g# standard.
Sky!
:D
Could you do a gear masters with counterparts?
We can try, but it's completely up to them, not us.
Nice gear
Glad you liked it!
finally some one else likes Nickleback!
Hehe! :)
Mike kroeger from nickelback uses similar basses from Spector
i like that he likes nickelback!
:)
whenever I see, I always imagine slash, lol but this boy has something different in music.
Thanks for watching.
He reminds of Pete Davidson
Wow Sky's setup is nice. Even though he says some of his stuff he has it setup to not do much.
oh. Ah-cord. thats how you pronounce it.
:)
As his dad my own pronunciation was always "A-cord" but I let my family pronounce it any way they want! The only downside is that folks tend to spell it "Accord" when hearing.
***** we always did Ay-cord
WHY IS HE NOT USING THE B7K FOR DISTORTION THAT IS BLASTPHEMY😂
That was my first thought lol I use the B7K for distortion and it's one of the most satisfying tones I've heard in my life. That being said, I'll never be half the bassist that Sky is so I can't judge lol
He probably doesnt want to sound like everyone else lol
lost some respect for this man
Why?
he likes nickleback, however it is not my place to judge the man has crazy talent and makes rad music.
