Silent Planet's Mitchell Stark shows off his tour gear!
Who should we film with next?
***** We can try to get them next time they're in Chicago.
Please get Underoath's Tim McTague, James Smith and Grant Brandell.
davecoreproductions We can try, but it's completely up to them, not us.
Parkway Drive.
He's so underrated
Totally agree!
Agreed. I've seen them 3 times. I got VIP this last time, a year ago. What's great is everytime I've seen them we got to chill with Garrett before their set.
"I also have really tiny hands.."
Well au revoir then
So does Dean Lamb
Love this band. Mitch is a super player and I love his playing style.
He's awesome!
Awesome, this band is full of such nice and great guys.
Definitely!
Benny Enriquez Hi benny
Hi Joser

Yea, I don't know the band but he seems like an awesome person.

"EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee"
Saw this beautiful musical genius and the rest of the boys play last night and let me say he is INSANELY good. Like hearing him and the rest of silent planet live is better than the album.
I saw him play up close last night. one of the best tube metal tones ive ever heard live. performance was unreal. Ive seen them before and thought he was playing behind some backing tracks at some of the larger shows. boy was I wrong. his living play and execution of the songs were very sick. every note was clear/heavy and each note/tap was potent and sustained without being muddy at all.
🤘🤘🤘
Interesting gear and breakdown for a way underrated player (and band!). Also, I just realized that's My Epic getting set up behind him during the 4:00 on-stage scene!
I love this band so much. They are so empowering and inspiring and their riffs and melodies are next level. If I could listen to only one band for the rest of my life it would be a hard tie between Silent Planet and Underoath. BTW please do rig rundowns for UØ, yeah?
We're trying to film an episode with Underoath, but it's completely up to them, not us.
Anybody notice the two guys in the background on stage having the really awkward super long handshake?
My youth pastor has been pestering me to listen to these guys for 3 years now, so I finally caved and listened to "The Night God Slept", and I must say, I feel stupid for ignoring them all this time.
Absolutely love his sound and went searching for the gear he used, unfortunately that specific variation of the Legator Ninja is no longer made, they only have multiscale guitars now unfortunately.
this is at the bottom lounge here in Chicago if I'm not mistaken.
It sure is! We film a ton of videos at Bottom Lounge! :)
I love this band! His setup is pretty simple except for the rack stuff haha
:)
Saw yall last night in st.louis! At the del mar hall! You were directly in front of me and i was instantly mesmerized by your playing! Youre awesome and just 😍
🤘
Yeah the JB man, what an amazing pickup for metal stuff!
🤘
the guys reenacting a ancient Japanese hand ritual at 4:48 BOI
Austin from Ghost key in the back (:
:)
Bottom lounge Chicago ❤️
Yup!
and this whole time i thought he was playing an RG ibanez lol
Thanks for watching.
He does aha, this was a few years back when he was with legator. He uses an rga, rgd and FR Ibanez guitars now.
It's nice to see a band with a small amount of gear and an actual amp, instead of a million other pedals, or just we use me.per profiler or axe fx and that's it.
Every musician has their own preferences, right?
what a fuckin chad this guy
I saw these guys live in Raliegh NC and they were amazing! Mitch is so good, but he definitely and Garrett need to turn up a little more. Everything was Sound... and the drums and bass are the only sounds I heard :/
Did you guys do one for Thomas as well?
Unfortunately, just had enough time in the schedule for Mitch. He's the big gear nerd in the band, so it made the most sense.
Bottom lounge is the best venue :)
Thanks for watching!!
Anyone know the brand of jacket he is wearing?? So dope.
Not sure, sorry.
@7:19 *AU REVOIR*
Was that spencer chamberlain at the beginning behind ??!
I don't believe so.
Digital Tour Bus :49-:55 seconds is his twin 😳
Gabriel Arce I just looked and I think it's too far away to truly tell.
it's not
Pretty sure he threw the guitar and it broke on last date of the For Today Farewell Tour😂
Could be!
Digital Tour Bus tell Joey we love him and miss him and I'm so proud of him my favorite and my idol of my life it wasn't for Joey I never would have Licious a long story short Joey helped save my life
What guitar tuning did he say?
Brendan Gibbs Drop A#
they also play in Drop Bb, but the low Bb is dropped down to a G#1. songs like Orphan use that tuning
@@dumithegreat3892 Bb and A# the same thing my dude
@@dumithegreat3892 G, not G#
Anyone know the tunings they play in?
Unfortunately, if he doesn't mention it in the video, I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can help you out.
Everything they've written (excluding panopticon) is based in Drop A#/Bb.
The lowest string (what would be the low E string standard or low B string for a baritone) changes frequently with their songs especially on when the end began. Usually sits somewhere between F and G#
