Amber Malaki is another Gem from Chopard. I agree as well Musk Malaki is gorgeous and so smooth. The cedar note in here is magic, just like in Amber Malaki the incense is magic. Got Rose and Oud Malaki coming because the quality in these is crazy for the price. Hoping to get the Elie Saab Oud sometime towards the fall too (easier to find than Amande Tonka, but not for a decent price lol).
Aetherealist Just got the rose Malaki in, it’s got a big vanilla note makes this almost gourmand, like a pastry or candy. Performance so far is alright, 8 hours in and it’s still there can smell it about 6 inches off the skin. I like it. Amber has a very similar vibe to Oud Malaki, so if you like Oud Malaki you should like Amber Malaki. Fragrancebuy.ca has them for $57 USD for Rose and $63 USD for Amber for when the time comes to pick them up.
I've never really considered musk a primary accord in fragrance...just something that gives a scent more depth and helps give it balance and rounds it out. I have a ton of perfumes that have a musky vibe, but the only one that's musk front-and-center is The Body Shop White Musk. It's nice...and out-of-the-shower clean (synthetic)....but just stay at home and read a book at night nice. This one has me intrigued since it is that out-of-the-shower clean musk, but also some heavier notes of leather and pepper. My be added to my Spring Fling purchase. Enjoyed!
I have this one and i like it a lot. Also Galen Chopard's Noble Vetiver is beautiful. One of the best Vetiver fragrances i have in my collection. Think of a more expensive smelling Grey Vetiver. Nice story there too:)

I recently had a similar epiphany with a musk attar from Al Faransi .. so now I guess I have to get my nose on both the Rose & the Musk Malaki from Chopard .. sadly, I fear frugal times are ahead for many of us. I hope you're coping well with quarantine. Take care!

But it's ok. It's just a dream. Or so you TELL yourself. Until you wake up with your mouth tasting like an ashtray because you've been eating cardboard again eventhough you promised yourself you wouldn't, but it's just so delicious and setting fire to it just isn't enough. And that's when you realize - that woman is better off not knowing you. And as you let go of those feelings you felt so genuinely when you first made eye contact, you feel a wave of relief flow lovingly throughout your body like warm maple syrup drizzled over a 2x1 14-guage box. Mmmmm. Musk Malaki. Sen-Sational.
