This video serves as a very good explanation to how your taste became so refined with oud as I kept wondering previously how you’ve come to understand oud even better than a middle eastern like me would. Oud malaki is very popular but your other recommendations and reviews are so niche and very helpful for those who can’t get their nose on a specific scent. Thank you for your detailed reviews
I would not really compare them; very different scent profiles. I don't believe there is much of actual natural oud in Oud Malaki, however it does an exceptionally great job at capturing the profile of incense based oud typically celebrated in royal courts across the Gulf for a fraction of the price.

How u see Oud malaki compared to nieche brands?

Disappointing tbh. Weak oud and tobacco compared to what I expected and terrible performance as it basically disappears after 3 hours. Not worth it
