I tried a similar experiment here in Australia (without the actual purchase). Our Amazon store is lacking most of these things, so I searched through DJ City. Same brand/model where possible, equivalent where we don't have the brand. Total came to $2618 (our prices always include tax). The real killer was the pair of Mackie Thump 12A. Don't have that bundle, and the pair come to $1069. The DJ Facade is $299, and the Pioneer DDJ-SB3 is $429. DJ City don't sell those plastic tables, but they can be easily obtained from Bunnings or Officeworks. You can’t buy a wireless mic for $50-$100 so assume we’re talking about a wired mic here. In that case, you can, it’s the workhorse of mics all day long for under $100. The Shure SM58. Tried, true, rugged, reliable :)
Only thing I would have changed would have been to go with Behringer B212ds for speakers. Weve owned something like 14 of them and all of them have been absolute work horses and they're much louder than the thumps. They wouldn't need upgrading in the near future like the thumps will either. Can't believe you bought all this stuff bro! lol
Thanks for the vid. As far as udget mics I use akg dual wireless and have been using them for the last 15 years and they work. Tested as far away as half a football field and inside of a Building to outside.. and they have no drop outs and sound great...
At least $200 for dj headphones is over kill, $50 to $150 is the sweet spot, I can recomend this 3⬇️ Gemini djx 500 Sony mdr7506 Audio technica ath m50x
Your videos are always on point I really enjoy following you on here I take lots of pride in my work like you do so I salute you for everything you do and all the great advice!!!
Tascam TH-07 headphones are great! Better than Sennheiser 280 Pro's. I've had a few $140+ DJ headphones and the $75 Tascam's are super satisfactory. That surge protector doesn't really protect equipment. Furman power conditioners or, their SB6 6 outlet with a 15' cord is more protective.
I would have picked up adapters for the xlr cables that came with the speakers, the adapters are xlr to 1/4” so you could have save a couple more bucks there. But overall that is more then enough for a starter package to dj with.
I would think an external hard drive would be best practice. With that you can have 2 or three all synced so you have your main drive and a backup or two.
Great content. I didn't think you were gonna buy all that. Can't wait to see the next video. Are you actually gonna use that on your next gig? That would be dope to see.
Nice video. The wired mic will work fine, and never drop out! I didn't see you buy a mic cable though. Gonna use an XLR that comes with the speakers? I recommend at least 25 ft, maybe 50 ft.
Why don’t you make a video about your recommendations of pro level speakers, subwoofers, wireless microphone, professional dj controller and lights that is worth of investment? Especially someone who wants to level up the game. Up to like $10,000-$15,000.

I can't believe you actually bought all of that, that['s awesome man!
Use whatever software works best for you. If you can rock a crowd with it then use it!
Headphones: There's only one recommendation: Sennheiser HD25. Lasts a lifetime. And nowhere near 200 dollar. Wtf. :D
I agreed My HD 25 last 25 years
I have the pioneer cue 1, they are brilliant I must say, decent budget headphones
Great video very helpful for since i want to go into djing.
Super Christmas gear. Also VDJ Rules ! js
Wooow you just buy almost the whole setup to proof, that's freaking awesome, can't wait for the Video, thank you for share all those tips!!!
Damn Barr that’s dope you bought all this stuff to finish your video. I take my hat off to you
Dope Video BARR! Looking forward to seeing you build this. Excellent idea.
I will never forget the previous vídeo
I’m excited for the upcoming video 🙈

Headphone wise check out the Audio Technica M40Xs, or the Audio Technica M50Xs
I love sx3 and rz and then sz2 and prx815 prx818 I love on stage stands is best and then hosa xlr is best and I love 12 to 16 channel is cool

Anyone use GTD Audio Mics? And when getting 2 of 1/4 to XLR for speakers, get a 3rd for your mic.
The laptop 👨💻 is $1500 you need at least 3k in my opinion lol... good video mang 🤘
i bought equipment from your last vid like this
Una vez más excellent vídeo thank you brother!!
Crazy a year later the prices are way higher. thump 12s are at 379 and Zlx-12bt are 499! Sucks
Great content. I didn't think you were gonna buy all that. Can't wait to see the next video. Are you actually gonna use that on your next gig? That would be dope to see.
What are the best speakers and sub looking at 2 Mackie go’s and an alto 15
Bra... still need the laptop..I know you mentioned it in the beginning, but thats the most important to the setup...Just Sayin
Gotta buy another macbook
Damn Barr be balling on us 💵💰
I want to know about JBL speakers and how loud thay are
You selected cables and extensions but didint check the amp capacities.
Hey guys... I would also include the importance of having gaff tape for all your cables ($20 per roll, but worth the expense)
Anyone knows whats the best budget bass 12'' speakers for small bar or party without use of subwoofer?
Great video bro 👊🏽
Why four power cords ? Two are for the speakers and the other two ?
I'd never use 2-to-3 prong adapters. In fact, I test the outlets before I plug in with a cheap receptacle tester. No ground/No DJ.
Nice video. The wired mic will work fine, and never drop out! I didn't see you buy a mic cable though. Gonna use an XLR that comes with the speakers? I recommend at least 25 ft, maybe 50 ft.
Great video !!
can we use dj controller set
for karaoke
Hey @DJBAR , you should do. A mega give away for the set up you just brought!!!

Good Idea!
Like your videos. But can't agree with speakers. The Thump series is very disappointing. Peaks quickly and distorts within an hour of dance levels.
What about a subwoofer???
I'm curious on the speaker set for $604. 14 reviews and 4stars? I wonder why not 5
Que mic es major shure oh EV yo compre un EV RE3 semi usado casi nuevo solo pague $300
Would you actually take it out to one of your gig..?
Talk about putting your money where your mouth is... 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Your a G for this vid... Jerz Stand Up!! (P.S. yes I'm from Jersey also 😅)
Thanks for making this, Im looking into getting into DJing. I have been fascinated by DJ's all my life
damn they took out the speakers can I buy it from you?
Can’t wait for the unboxing video! Keep up the awesome videos!!
Bro you need a podcast and a TV show on Netflix
I'm so excited for the next show #clifhanger
I have that same facade. It looks great and I've had tons of compliments about it
Wow! This video was awesome!! Can’t wait to see part 2
Thank you I have been looking for a video like this to come out.
Nice job as always Bayardo! 👍🏽👍🏽
Vinyl sound better :)
Give away the setup bro..lol....more mail times vids 😬
