At my local skatepark skateboarders actually respect roller and inline skaters a lot because they say, when you skateboard and you're going to fall you can just kick the board to the side but you can't take your rollerskates off

I never new the definition of ‘Moxie’ and this video literally made me burst into tears! I am so inspired by you ladies and especially you EstroJen! I have been battling Stage 4 breast cancer “terminal” for 8 years, diagnosed young on my 33rd birthday in 2013. I am CANCER FREE and a walking miracle BECAUSE OF MY MOXIE🤩 My son was not even 2 years old when I was diagnosed and given only 2 months to live 8 YEARS AGO! It’s 2021 and I am now 8 years cancer free! I dance with this darkness every minute of every single day along with severe PTSD and my son and my pup BellaBoo have been my only consistent light and the only reason I am still breathing! Every single one of you ladies have completely stolen my heart! ❤️ I just bought my first pair of skates this month, the Moxie Barbies for me and also my son and I both twinsies black Rainbow riders for our Halloween bc I was Rainbow Brite and he was my Sprite Twink 🤩 we both wore our rainbow riders with our costumes 🤩 I am typing this now for myself and declaring this out loud and it goes straight to my vision board! I WANT TO BE A MOXIE GIRL!! 🤩🥰🛼🛼🛼 we are both beginning skaters and I am studying your videos and so addicted already ❤️ i am slowly getting the mental strength to share our journey and I KNOW skating and Moxie will be a part of that journey somehow. Lol, but dw about falling!! They have all skated for a very long time but still fall, just be careful and try not to tense up and make sure to keep your knees bent and you'll be ok! Even if you do fall it helps me get more comfortable (but ive only been skating for about 3 days so what do i know pfft, good luck if you do ever skate!)

Indy Jamma Jones has a video I watched yesterday of a man who started skating when he was 60. He's 76 at the time of filming, and it's absolutely amazing. He says it keeps him active healthy, and having fun. He also says don't be afraid, just wear the protective gear and start out slow to get the hang of it. 💕 I hope your Mrs. (and you, if you want to feel like flying) will try it!

This is my 5th year skating and I still love every second of it! Today was my first day on a skate park and I seriously was embarrassed, scared but I got through it! I even did a jump! Thank you so much Pigeon and Indy(Especially Indy!!!!) For helping my with my roller skating journey!!!

Really Inspiring, but sad to hear all the toxic stuff in the rollerskating community , especially about indy and how she treats pocs
Hey. Indy didn't treat people differently... she misjudged a situation. And she's learning from it. If you didn't see her latest video... she lost her whole business off of a hasty decision related to a video showing a live death in her online posting furum, that she thought she could save younger eyes from. She didn't deface anyone. She freaked out because it showed death then triggered people got to play a race card against her because there was a situation to blame. Indy has that hyper precision type, thinking brain (She was a trained gymnist/athlete and her aim is alot of precision) so she comes off sharp sometimes. She also loves and wants to help everyone, always. She isn't racist or even an opportunitist. She let EVERYONE judge her. She lost her busuness to straight up opinions. And she lost her best friend Pigeon for the brunt.
Please don't spread hate anymore. We can all thrive better together.

As a proud Latina when I heard all about that drama it hurt to know that with a sport so freeing there's still so much judgment and because of it I refuse to buy impalas even though they are so cute yes they tried to rectify the situation to the skaters who were involved but I can't support any company that treats it's workers as such. As for indy she made her apology video too little too late where her apology just seems like it was something to do because it was expected of her and when you are in these platforms you have to be very careful of what you do or say because it can be taken the wrong way. You won't be able to understand the situation unless you are a part of the latino/black community. I've experienced racism on both parts from my own community (mostly older generation) and people who have white privilege I really hope she learns from this and in time ppl might be able to forgive her but as for now I can't

I have so much respect for roller skaters, I recently started watching a bunch of roller skating videos and really motivated me to try it myself. Well, I went yesterday and now I have many bruises and i'm SOOOO sore lol. I fell so many times and even fell really hard on the back of my head. (the rest of the day I had a MASSIVE headache) But of course I'm totally going to try it again.
Have you gone again? How was it? Man, I want to roll soo bad. I think it's the closest a wingless person can get to flying.

I’d really love to go again but probably during a weekday because I feel like there will be less people therefore I can be a bit more comfortable. Are you a roller skater yourself?

I don't have a rink nearby that's open right now so I'm going to be practicing in the parking lot by my house, and once I get decent there I'll be all over the hills of my apartment complex.
@@taxat10n1sth3ft that’s so cool ! When I went, I actually used the stroller for the most part. Towards the end of our session, I started to get the hang of it. My mistake was that I put all my weight on the stroller and not on my feet, which definitely caused me to fall a lot. Do you think it’s dumb to wear a helmet to a roller rink? I’ve considered it since I fell really hard on the back of my head. What do you think?

This video came across me when I was looking for which roller skates to buy. Since then I’ve heard that name tons of times. I’m so proud to have ordered the Moxi Rainbow Riders and even if I’m not anywhere near Long Beach or the USA at all (I’m from Europe!) I feel so happy being part of this community!
When I first tried skating, I didn’t tie my skates right and they got caught around the wheel. Long story short I left the skate park with a broken jaw. Good times.

It's good to see stuff like this going on. I remember girls roller skating back in the late 70's and early 80's (1977-1982) to disco music in my neighborhood. Brings back some memories but they didn't do this which is a lot cooler.

I want to be one of them, I mean I wear all black and blue and will only just be buying a pair of skates for my birthday - but they are so inspiring and colourful that I can't help but want to know them! I've watched loads of videos about them and I just love all their personalities! I'm also longboarding and can't wait to try this out. I just get really nervous when other people look at me so i'm trying to find a quiet place to skate and board.

Sydney Lee I have scoliosis too but isn't too severe, I do inline skating, something really soft and it helps with my posture I just have to do it on flat (very flat) surfaces don't worry, I hope you can find a way !!
