Kayak Fishing Big North Dakota Channel Catfish

Today I took my new FeelFree Moken 12.5 out on the Red River of The North.
I went out in the morning And the fishing was HOT.
I Got snagged and forgot to bring extra hooks so i had to go home and get more.
When I went back out in the evening and fishing was Much slower. We still managed to find a couple nice fish and enjoy the evening. Thanks for watching Everyone.

I like to think the scent and thousands of goldeye scales in the kayak helps bring the fish in.

Was just north of Fargo was lots of dead catfish end of July

From what I heard, the DNR said that had to do with spawn stress.

If you were to mount a transducer under that sonar pod would it hang down far below the hull or would it be recessed a little bit? I have one of these boats on order and I was just wondering if my transducer is going to be hanging down to where it might be damaged.

It’s designed so it would be recessed and not scrape on the bottom.
