I started this series months ago thinking it would be moderately good, and it turned out to be an exceptional piece of work. From the characters, to the script, to the details hidden in every scene and the winks for those who have read the books.

Thank you so much! I was already drawn in by the feeling of love for the books that pours form the series, alongside their clear vision on how they want to tell their version and why. But hearing this I only get more excited for the rest!

The actor who played Paul, Steven G. Norfleet, is a professional dancer but Jacob Anderson learned the routine for the role.
Dilation of the eyes are due to different contact lens that they wore to express their emotions -- they use a lot of practical special effects in the series.

The woman who plays Louis mother her name is rae dawn chong she's mostly known for the film commando starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and she's the daughter of tommy chong

Did you know tge church that Louis was made in a vampire was areal one? There is a special on RUclips that goes just under 42 minutes that shows a lot of behind the scenes of the first episotde. Your reaction was enjoyable with not too much talk. Sam Reid who plays Lestat has the face of a fallen angel but he is only 5 foot 7 i hear.

@@spookswithmina,Hello my dear but I googled his height and that is the height I got. In most things I saw Sam in most actors were taller than him even the women. He wears shoes with thick soles a nd I found out today the actor is 37. I loved him in a historical movie drama BELLE made about 11 years ago. If you like that kind of thing do look for it. He also did a TV series called THE NEWSREADER where he plays an intriverted newsreader. The boss in that is a head taller than him.
