Beautiful layout great camera work. Made me feel I was in Southern California in the 1940s.
That's really cool just like really standing on the street watching the trolleys in real life cool
Remarkable setup. We have different layouts at different shows we participate in, but this has to be the most elaborate and detailed scene of a town. The video production is very entertaining, also.
Who ever shot this did an AHHHHHH Mazin' job. Beautifully photographed and a great layout. Thanks for sharing.
The best streetcar layout I have ever seen. It captures the spirit of the age perfectly. Congratulations.
great show for anyone who attended. Long straightaways, lots of variety, very smooth operation.
Lotta detail. This reminds me of Long Beach, California.
I remember seeing the Big Red Cars when i was a kid.
Awesome layout and what a great representation of a wonderful era long gone.
Awesome Video
This is what happens when people strive for perfection, and what a payoff! Hopefully an electronic solution can be devised so the cars can be run at slower speeds by storing a small charge of electricity onboard (capacitors?) to allow them to glide past dead spots. But in addition to the superbly shot and dubbed video, the concept, design, scenery, buildings, track, overhead wires, weathering, scenes depicted -- you name it -- are all so fantastic.
Fantastic ground level and tracking shots. Thanks for sharing your excellent modeling with the world.
Wow. Simply great. Thank you!
WOW! That is fantasatic! Great models, excellent video, and super sound track. I'll share this with all my O gauge friends to show them how is should be done!
Thanks for sharing.

This is an outstanding HO scale traction layout. I am a collector of HO brass traction train models and someday I hope to emulate this Southern California Traction Club layout. The guys who built this masterpiece are my heroes. I have mostly vintage HO scale Suydam brass traction-electric interurban cars in my collection. It would be great to see them painted and running around on an HO pike, just like the one in this video. That would be really cool.
yeah?
I only want 1 or 2 of the Red Cars & do them up like the ones in Roger Rabbit
5 stars! That was awesome! WOW!
great layout one of the best I've seen, with excellent music ,well done!!!!
Very nice module. I really like the National Lines painted Brill & Peter Witt as well as the PE Interubran Car.
Awesome layout!
Somebody has it right, multiple trolleys running and no pole interuptions..nice video production nice layout.. Septa pccs look nice..
Fantastic,very nice model.
Besides the running speed..fantastic layout and video. i might try to view it in slo mo..;-)
love it
I understand what you mean. Most people at these shows have no perception of what it would be like if they were using this transportation system for themselves. They would be the first to complain or abandon use of the system because of the transportation experience.
I don't agree with the need to "satisfy the public" while they are viewing this model.
Never the less, the craftsmanship is fantastic!
Amazing layout! How long did it take to build it?
Any Suydam HO brass traction cars running on this layout?
The only thing missing from this club is intense LED lighting...
Can someone tell the music that was used for this video?
I think the school bus on the layout is abit TOO modern for this era
microbusss great layout, but I also saw a VW Beetle in there, and a Corvette, both too modern for the era.
danger : 500 volts . lovely
When they ripped out the trolley tracks, the USA went all to hell.
Nice work! Great craftsmanship!
However, the equipment is being operated too fast.
At a curve or corner, all the passengers & operator are "thrown" across the car or against an interior wall.
Not a very comfortable or pleasurable ride I would think. More reason to take the bus, purchase your own car & drive yourself, use a bicycle, walk or use an ox cart.
Try running at prototypical speeds instead of "racing". It will try your patience at first, but your videos will improve.
