- Thank you for your support during my hair growth. I got nothing but beautiful comments. I appreciate every one of you.
I wanted to highlight that I got my back side trimmed about 4 times, because it was starting to look bad. And during this year I only got 1 haircut where the hairstylist only did a trimming.
In resume I would add at least 2 inches to the final true growth.

I recently shaved mine. I did it for my niece who lost her hair from chemo treatment. She is only 14. I wanted to show her she doesn’t have to be alone. But now I realize how much I can actually walk with her down this journey. Styling tips..talking about how it feels to lose your hair…just being open and honest. It’s been a journey so far and only 1mo in. I miss my hair so much. And I’m not scared to tell her that, to me the open dialogue is the best part. So she knows she doesn’t always have to tough it out and put on a smile. It’s ok to miss her hair. And it’s ok to feel sad about it.

Hi Ava, I hope you get to feel better. Your hair will grow back so beautiful. Sometimes I miss having a shaved head because it was so easy to get ready. I don't know the reason why you did it, but just the fact you took that step says a lot about how strong you are. Natalie Portman was my biggest inspiration, check her V from Vendeta movie, and her looks after it. Looking at her made me feel very powerful and femenine. Enjoy your christmas eve. I just did mine with a no 2. I'm excited to see it grow out. No heat, no dying, etc. It's a fun new way to have a fresh start 😊

Hello David!, Wow that was fast! So nice!, it means you are very healthy. I actually had 1 hair cut and a few trims in the back. But I think my growth was in a normal speed. They say in average hair grows 1/2 inch per month.

I shaved my head over a month ago. No regrets and excited for the fresh new hair growing out. No more heat styling, no more perms, no more chemicals. It's worth it and so fulfilling 🥰

I’m alittle way off a year following shaving my head last December and I struggle sometimes with the regrowth & it can feel really frustrating when you don’t see any progress but I watch videos like this and it helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s hair and it will grow back 😬

im 16 and i shaved my head almost exactly a month ago. probably gonna shave it completely again in about a month, but then im gonna let it grow. the growing out period is gonna be hell but i dont regret it. its an experience!

You get six inches of growth after 1 year. So you are right on track. I am on year two now and its on my shoulders, just barely.

I shaved my head ok January 3rd . I’m going thru chemo and it was falling off . I hope it grows as fast as yours .

I used to dye my hair alot when i was younger and it damaged my hair alot so i got a pixie cut and grew it all out to its natural colour. 3 and a half years later i had my natural long hair and decided to treat myself by getting balyage. It went wrong and they dyed my roots even though i didnt want it doing and i feel like my hair is ruined. Im wanting to shave my head and start again but im not sure if it will suit me or not. ive been crying every day because i feel like my hard work of growing natural hair has gone to waste. i apologise for rambling but watching these videos is making me want to shave my head completely! 😭

I just got a haircut and I'm not sure if I like it, my lenght of course wasn't as long as yours. But that's why I know and can imagine how you are feeling.
During my shaved head days, I honestly enjoy it a lot. I could do it again. If you decide to do it and need someone to talk about it let me know. If you decide to cure your current hair, is also a valid and possible option. Meanwhile we can have fun with wigs, right?...xo

Ive thought alot about it and i definitley want to do it once in my life! When my natural hair grows out and if it looks strange with the dyed areas that will be my que to pick up the shaver😆 And wigs are always fun! Thankyou so much again for being nice! Me too Tanya! I had to shave mine because ulta bleached the sh$t out of it and it was so damaged to the root. :( I’m too afraid to not wear a hat or wig when I go out so no one sees it. I don’t feel feminine either and makeup hardly helps I also learned I hate my neck and don’t have the skinniest face for this. I only did it to get rid of the damage but I hate it so bad. I just feel gross and my insecurities are so horrible! Extremely self conscious when we go out now even though I try hard to hide my hair when we have too. :( I have one inch of hair all over. Praying it looks somewhat decent by summer but I can hardly stand it anymore. :(
Yesss I have a wig too. It’s not human hair unfortunately so it gets really tangled and I have to brush it and I mean BRUSH IT! My hair is that ugly dishwatery brownish color. Between bleaching it since I was 16 and getting sick from my implants, my hair looked horrible. I keep asking my husband if he’s attracted to me and he says yes but I feel like I’m not what he likes (it’s all in my head lol). I’m glad we are in it together!!!

I can only get synthetic too. The cheap one off Amazon. I even worry still people can tel it’s a wig while out so I can’t win. I have literal anxiety over how much I hate my hair now. But I feel you on the damage. It’s so disheartening and the anxiety and self esteem is bad. I’d give anything to had never gone to ulta that day now. I feel “ok” wearing a wig in the house around hubby but when I’m not I feel like he’s not attracted at all. I swear he’s just being nice now. I truly understand. It’s so hard now. I have a sweet baby girl and only take pictures of her now. I just find it hard to want to be in any photos anymore. I mean the bad self esteem is real now. I am so down on myself more than I think I’ve ever been in life.

@@Yisethbrendlinger ahh I get you, I shaved my head because I needed to spice up my life and I just thought, what's the worst that can happen? So I did it that afternoon it was abit intrusive, I have thought about it before but everyone has thought about shaving their head one point or another. I dont regret it, I can sleep in on school days, showers take half the time and theres alot less stress revolving hair, not only that it was very empowering for some reason, I got myself a name in school, I'm still getting used to the stares, but I do feel like a badass!

I really have a thin hair and my friends have thick hair. I told my mom that I want to buzz my hair and she said OK. But I don't know what will people think about me and I don't even have lot friends. My old friends hurted me and bullied me a lot and I want to take revenge from them too by achieving my dreams by becoming a K-pop idol. I wish I had a thick hair I don't care if it's long or short. Hi honey, what is your name?. After doing this I learned that it's better to do things that make you happy without asking others for "permission" or opinion, everyone has a point of you and it doesn't have to do with you. I did it only telling my husband. I knew if I tell others they would say no, because it isn't comun for a girl to shave her head. Then when I did it, everyone was very supportive. At the end their opinion doesn't matter.

@@vaigaunni9571 damn..it was 3 years ago. It was shaved by trimmer to cut down a lot of long hair,then they used razor for a clean shave. Im having a good number of hair now. Thank for reminding that day❤️

I’m 14, I shaved my head in July and I absolutely love it, but I also miss being able to do things with my hair 😂 I want to try an above the shoulders type hair cut so I hope my hair grows fast🙂 and I shaved it again and I regret that bc I wanted to grow it out more right after😂 but it’s okie.

I wanted to cry I just hope and pray that after that my hair comes good 😔it's really hard for me. My hair is upto my mid waist.
Please don't feel pressured to do something you don't want to. If you want to start getting healthier hair you can start by getting it trimmed every 6 weeks. If you decide to shave your head, your hair for sure would be virgin and healthy, but take into account that this doesn't change the color, shape, texture or thickness. This last elements are part of your genetics.

I shaved mine the reshaved it 6 month ago.. I've not actually measured the length but I've not trimmed mine atall not even at the back or sides lol.. I've loved it.. Everyday is like a whole new hair day lol

Hello beautiful!, thank you!. Don't worry, English is also my 2nd language. Yes, I did get a trim once and my husband cut my hair in the back side like 4 times because it kept looking longer that the rest. Get a haircut when you feel it's hard to style it. It might help ❤😽🌻

Hello dear Maeda, thank you for watching and leaving me your question. Alright; 1) I did not have consequences. At the beginning I just noticed my scalp was a little dry. But I think it was because I take hot showers. Nothing else. 2) No, hair texture and falling doesn't change when you shave. Because that comes from inside. Your hormones, deficiencies, genes, etc. What it changed is that my hair is shinier and softer. This is normal because it is new hair that hasn't been treated chemically or heated tools.

Hi Yiseth did you just keep the back trimmed and let everything else grow out? I'm at the newly shaved head stage right now. I feel so unsure about how to grow this out. Yes, that's exactly what I did. I just trimmed the back to make it look more even. Until I finally was able to go to the salon and get a micro bob.

Hello!, yes, I trimmed it in the back like 4 times. And 1 trim in all my hair. But just to give it some shape. Nothing more than 1 inch. Normally hairs grow 1/2 inch a month.
i also cut my hair on april 2020 nd i am regretting it actually the girls with short hair consirdered to be confiedent and you cant beleive it grow so fast than in long hair

Your hair grows like mine. It's a little slow in the beginning, but for the most part it grows fast. I think it's because we have thicker hair and thick hair tends to grow a little slower than people who have thin hair.

Hello dear Sanika, thank you for sharing your situation. I'm actually not using any products at the moment. Just a cheap shampoo. But I recommend not wash it too often. And maybe use a conditioner or mask at least 1 time a week. Also avoid the use of hot tools. ♡
