Idk if youve figured it out yet but it may be tired VTC springs, 30yo springs with x miles get soft and the intake cam gears chatter. If u confirm the noise to be coming from there, the springs and o rings are cheap on czp or z1. The AquaFPS meme killed me lmao, good luck with your Z!
Dude! Good ears! You’re right, it’s the vct, but I’ve narrowed that down to the gear itself. I replaced the springs and it worked for a bit and came back
@@natezgreat ahh dang.. its a super easy swap but you gotta re-tension your timing belt, its a good time to refresh your 120k timing kit tho if u havent yet! I like z1's kit with the arp idler studs and gates racing kevlar belt for peace of mind!! Keep up the content homie!
