Excellent video really enjoyed it.

Lovely stuff! Was surprised to see that Matrix pole - thought that Daiwa would never retire!
Thanks Gavin! 😊 Haha, yep it's been retired now - to be fair I think it was probably about time for Steve! 😂
Getting close to 50k subs well done Steve
Thanks as always mate! 😊 And yes, we're creeping towards it! Haha.

Nice one from the waters edge
Thanks for watching Simon 😊 Glad you enjoyed it!
Good Video and well fished, just wondered why you mix the MTX3 & MTX4 poles?
Did Steve!? Haha. I didn't even notice myself 😂
Thanks guys. I have zero interest in Match Fishing but this was still a very interesting watch! With that much gear do Match Anglers also compete for the World's Strongest Man?😂
I can confirm this is true, Eddie hall can’t hack it
Haha, thanks for watching mate! 😊
Well done
Thanks mate! 😊
Let's get Chris into a sea match too.
I like the matches and would definitely be watching them, I'm not a fresh water fisherman but like the matches
Thanks William! 😊 And yes, I'd definitely be up for giving it a go! I'll have to have a look and see if I can see any events in Norfolk/Suffolk coming up. 😊
Great video Steve...Pegging was a tad tight! And I've never seen so many heart attacks waiting to happen!
Haha! 😂 Thanks for watching Scott, glad you enjoyed it! The pegging on many of the canal style lakes often can be - sometimes you can even have another lake behind you too. 😲
As an american fisherman this is very strange. But also interesting. You brits use more fishing gear than any other fishermen worldwide. Lol
How do you load ur car with all that gear i have a 2018 leon esate and struggle please show mee
Haha, perhaps I'll get Steve to do a video on it! 😂
Do you think you can always get away with 6 inch hook lengths when fishing for carp? I love the pre tieds and never want to have to tie 4 inch or 3 inch 😂How was your rig shotted?
I'm not too sure Curtis, I'll have a little word with Steve for you! 😊
Hello there mate,
I have started a new channel and I am wondering what camera kit you would advise what camera etc that I should buy on a small budget!
Thanks for the great content too 🔥🐟
Hi mate, first off good luck with your channel! 😊 As far as equipment goes, if you don't want to buy a dedicated camera for it, many of the phones these days are mega! Am sure the quality of an iPhone would be absolutely fine while you're getting started. 😊
Cheers mate 🙏
Great video into match fishing and insight to approach a match tactics and a plan of approach but do you think if you wasn't making this video you could of caught more cause when you see other watchmen the speed they land fish in the net and back out feeding at the same time while landing fish is unreal sometimes just a thought
Thanks for watching mate and glad you enjoyed it! 😊 100% I think Steve would of caught a few more (it's hard to say exactly how much more) as filming is time consuming, 30 seconds here, 1 minute there etc Plus when filming I'm moving on the bank etc which doesn't help his 'edge' line 😂
Well done Steve 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers Paul! 😊
That's the ugliest fish I've ever seen in the main image it looks like a stuffed antique fish thats falling apart
Haha, thats a Ghost Carp 😊
