      negativesplits06 yes, and what kind of shoes he's wearing? Definitely not for running.

      His ankle is literally broken 😞

    You've got to be kidding me. There wasn't a second spent discussing physics of running.

    That heel strike though, I'll see him with some injury in some time.

    The middle runner at 0:09 is landing on his heels. So bad. You can even see all the force he's taking on ripple through his leg.
    No wonder he's lagging behind the rest.

    Studying the physics of running would help most if nor all of the people in this video. I am always amazed by the number of people in the running industry who are oblivious to running mechanics and "the physics of running". The video title is unfortunately misleading and sadly misinformed.

    Ugh, the ankles on the middle and left runners in the intro are injuries waiting to happen

    If i'm in casual wear,jogging with a runner half my age i'd rather chose the inner lane.Nice talk.

    Need HELP admin.!!! Physics World
    Hello i am Naveen (age 26, good heart health, 5'6'', 73 kgs.), i am from India i do 6 kms in 30 mins. In india, weather is not always stable,. We have 2 months of intense winter and unlike western countries, 6 months of harsh scorching summers, temperature always above 42 degree, even went on to 46-47 degrees, humidity at higher side. How to improve the stamina in this ever changing weather conditions with summers along with humidity and loo as dominant factor? We don't have leisure of low temperature all around the year. When i was becoming used too to winter suddenly summers arrived and now just adapting to this changing weather. I want to increase my stamina but i am rather spending the energy on adapting to ever increasing temperature and humidity. Also my city is one of the most polluted city of the word, perhaps in top 10. Kindly suggest.

    The 3 runners at the start have awful form all land heel first

    • @xhunterforest
      @xhunterforest 9 лет назад

      only the one in the middle lands heel first, it may be because of fat feet with wrong shoe type. basically he needs bare foot on grass training when running to correct the foot muscles.

    you want to know about the physics of running? go outside in your running shoes and run with proper form. real physics for ya.

      When I came here I was hoping to learn about how Oscillations, Torques, and angular momentum effect running; this isn't something you can see just by running outside
