Avoid this problem by putting your foot on the brake to shift don’t jam it . That’s what that lock on the bottom at 5 o’clock is the release from the right foot brake pedal . Putting a hi gear in the transmission is what I’m fixing for a friend now . 175$ gear .
If only others could make detailed videos such as this one, it would be great. Then put the videos that are actually working at the top if the list would sure save folks a lot of time.
Hey awesome video, question for you mine got stuck in R and the teeth are ground out. I ordered a new shift shaft and I’m wondering is it possible to just twist the shaft to N or what you would have to do?

Hey great vid...do you have the part number for the second part you replaced? You changed the aluminum part to a steel part?

I had that happen on a dirt bike and it was that easy is all I can say from experience.
