I wish more RUclipsrs would show Mountain biking in all of its forms, like this. Mountain Biking is not only about sending it on the biggest gap Jumps. Thanks Phil for my favorite vid of the week.

Amazing how many people he inspired to ride ... I was in the hospital for almost a month when I found his channel. Didn't even know bike parks existed, so binged Phil, Seth and Nate Hills. Didn't know if I was gonna make it outta that hospital alive, but if I did, I knew I wanted to get into riding ASAP. Now I'm at a bike park pretty much every week (mostly Thunder, Killington and Mountain Creek).

With all the stones, rocks and ledges, thot you were back in New England again... But Quebec, CA is right next door..👍Good riding and you all stay safe..
Wow what a wicked trails!! Very nice use of wood bridges and rock slabs. Love it thanks for sharing. Great video as always and brilliant riding from you and Hayley 🤙
Like that you have your wife in the videos more. My husband is trying to get me to do more riding, it’s nice to see other couples out there. Hope to see her on more! 🙏🤘
Man this trail looks like so much fun. Some of it I probably wouldn’t be able to do at my skill level but I love the slab rock everywhere and the technical aspect of it so much. I’m living vicariously through all of you RUclipsrs at the moment cause I am injured and trying to recover so no riding for me 😕
Wolverine is a bit hard for me too but it's one of the tougher over there...there's a lot of easier trails that this, with rock and slab, that are super fun! ;)
15:06 If you want to go down this, do slab city! It's basically like klondike but downhill with some b-lines at a couple places. Sweet video! Awesome to see you shred Quebec, the trails are really good.
Trust that I love watching you rip down and continue to be amazed at how you see the lines, but damn you can ride some tech up. Track standing with the pogo stick was awesome. Thanks for inspiring.
I'm with you Phil..I really enjoy the technical climbing and technical downhill enduro type stuff but not a huge fan of the radio required to get there. 🤒
Nice one Phil! Now you have to come back to try Granitosaur, Velociraptor and Magneto. At E47 put Descente du Coude, Nosferatu, Pad Religion and Haute-Valkyrie on your itinerary
@@SkillsWithPhil Sentiers is amazing ... Never been to Whistler/BC, but at least from Killington to Kanuga, and everything in between, there's nothing like it.
SDM is awesome but Nosferatu should definitely be your next stop at E47. Best new track in the region this year in my opinion and taste! About the same length as the kingkong but steeper and 30ish + gaps and drops! Really nice build!
Yeah E47 is in general an easier place than Sentier du Moulin but now they have some big trails...Nosferatu would have been perfect for Phil, big drops, jumps and gaps! I don't know if he went but I don't think so... Hope I'm wrong! :P
I've been doing the Wolverine dozens of time and it's crazy to see you gap some of theses things. Hailey did great too, not an easy one no nails first time
Wolverine was really freaking cool. I'd like to go back and try it without stopping now that i know it better. Oddly enough i kind of enjoyed the climb out and back to haute maelstrom almost more. The tricky part about making youtube videos is that people are impatient and won't hesitate to click onto another video. I try to find the balance between giving context to the ride, and moving the story along.
Love the vids. I'm a little surprised how often (it seems) that Phil has to tighten his thru-axles. Is this due to how tech and steep the riding is - higher disc brake ejection forces and more vibration/flex in frame/fork. I'm a much tamer (less skilled/more chicken) XC guy who likes some tech so I don't know how common it is to need to tighten wheels mid-ride. I'm also riding on QR wheels and don't have thru-axles. Thoughts?
When traveling I take my front wheel off to fit it in the car. Sometimes I don't snug the axle down quite enough and it loosens up enough. Since I always carry a multitool it's not an issue.
