I am not a fan of Dog Daddy, but went to one of his sessions to form my own opinion on his training. There are multiple suspicious statements in her testimony. DD never says he can fix a dog in one session. He makes it extremely clear in every session that he can help dogs get better within one session, HOWEVER; it is up to the owner to continue the training consistently after the session to continue progress. He emphasized the importance of continuing training multiple times throughout the session I attended, in addition to reiterating that in many of his videos. He gave every dog owner the knowledge and guidance to continue training on their own by working with them directly. In my opinion, his explanations of why the dogs are acting a certain way and how his method works to change their behavior was very clear and easy to understand. Yes, the dogs didn't receive undivided attention, but that’s what you paid for by buying a group class ticket.
Some of the videos you see of DD handling dogs appears as if he is "swinging" or "flailing" the dogs. In the session I attended, it was extremely clear in person that it was the dog flinging itself around and DD is moving with the dog until it calms down. I understand this is still controversial, as this method is putting the dog way past its threshold, however; he doesn't sugar coat that either. His justification is that his training is the last hope for many of the dogs that come to him. He specializes in the most difficult dogs that other trainers can't work with or turn away from their services. He emphasis that some of the dogs he works with do not have ample time to fix their behavior as they are already at risk of being put down due to bad behavior. What you make of that is up to you, but keep in mind the possible consequence of doing nothing is someone being seriously injured and a dog being put down.
Also, you notice how she says she couldn't separate from her dog for 6-8 weeks for a board n train and wanted a "quick fix"? Well that is a fallacy in dog training. There are no quick fixes. She does not seem knowledgeable from a dog training perspective; so how much can we trust her assessment on a dog trainer?
Thing is, my dog failed a local trainer's board n train program and he was given back to me in a worst state than before he left (due to anxiety). I refrained from making negative comments about the trainer because I recognized I wasn't knowledgeable enough on dog training to make an accurate assessment on what went wrong. It took over a year of researching dog training and practicing with my dog to begin to understand what may have happened with this trainer.
Point is, it takes time, research, and practice handling to begin to understand dog training. In the beginning, I lacked the knowledge to see and understand what was best for my dog and she sounds like she is in a similar boat.

its sad that too many people want a quick fix. I know DD said he cant provide a quick fix but sadly some may see his videos and get the wrong assumption.

Dogdaddy never claims you can fix a dog in one class. I attended one of his group classes. He actually did transform dogs in a matter of minutes. But, it's still only the first step in changing long term behavior. Anyone who thinks their dog will be changed forever after one class is just silly.

yeah. i think he can market that a bit better as him and i discussed in our episode together. but this isn't really a fair critique of him in this video.

There are some videos of DDs group seminars, everybody can see and make an own opinion, and who he invides to look is his own decision, it s not other peoples buisness, how many dogtrainers this lady had already without that SHE changed HER behaviour, it s an ugly video with these two people without manors, maybe we can find somebody who can explain them the meaning of a groupseminar, successful dogtrainers would never go so down on their own level trying to look good, nobody should book this unsecure, untrustable guy.
I agree that i dont think this is a "dog daddy" issue like it was painted to be.

Stop talking lies about DD, He never Said one Training Meeting is the end of Training, this IS the First time Somebody of the group Seminars says Something negative, IT s nice to See a new Trainer beside the owner, He must Talk DD Bad that He can Look good, IS that the sign of quality, or weakness, I would Always choose DD, He has and Had never a need to Talk negative about Other Trainers, one Goal of His Seminars ist to Safe as many dogs He can, He Said once, If some people be quiet and Just make their Work IT would Help the dogs the Most.

Who is this trainer, I want his name, they call an other trainer out, what are his results or can he just laugh about others, as a trainer he should take this woman s illusions about what results you can get with a group seminar or not.
