Hey Coach. Much to say, but I,ll try and keep it brief. Sparkling clean windows on Main Street. The design of these buildings is really attractive. I like the red brick pavement on Main Street. The best Town Mural on that building side I've seen. The food is making me hungry..........The spin and play ride is apparently a 9.7. I had to run the data more than once to arrive there. The spin rate, the table size, the build quality the fall friendly sand bed all factor in. Good find......The calico cat has a steady and frequent medium pitched meow rate, all things considered, we go with an 8.7 for calico cat aural communication skill set.....The twilight sky for the ride out works.I failed to keep it brief, This is a special place. Carry on in peace.
Goodness gracious me. I never heard of Jetmore Ks before. Very nice looking small town. Loved the cat at the end. I see the kid at heart found another go around. That red bell was noisy and I'm glad you didn't ring it too loud or the whole town might've come running. Ha! Thank you for the trip, John. The lodge room was very nice. Happy trails to you and God bless.
My grandparents lived in Jetmore when they were first married. I remember her saying when they moved to the Severy area they had to dig a tunnel from the house to the barn through the snow so they could take care of the animals. They left on the train and a few days later the livestock was dug out and was shipped to them. It's been probably sixty years since I was there.
All those brick buildings were so nice. And the evening trip down the main drag with all those brick buildings lit up by those good street lights made such a beautiful evening picture. Seems like a wonderful little community. Looks like a great place to stop for a break.
Thanks for the compliments and nice video of our little town. Come out and enjoy the County Fair, Horse Theif Reservoir and City Lake, the Ranch Rodeo, awesome hunting, or just delicious food options and great ambiance.
❤ I wish I could live in a small town like that I live in Denver and I'm tired of it few years ago I lived in Glasco Kansas had to move back to Denver cuz I lost my job there in Glasgow
Nice feature of the eight man stadium. More than a decade ago there was a book written about the seventy game winning streak of the Smith Center six man football team
Hey John--train guy here! I was trying to look up railroad facts, found the depot had been moved to a farm near Dighton, no help here. Looks like the tracks were torn up back to Hanston, don't know why especially with a fine-looking elevator there. Track may have been too bad to repair. Nice look at a fairly stable town!
I love the feel of a small town like Jettmore. Interesting town, love the cafe ( my mom's name was Judy), and always love the murals. ❤❤ Sweet looking football/track field
I stopped in Jetmore during the 2015 Biking Across Kansas event, but I didn't get a chance to explore the town. After 80 miles in the saddle, I got sick and had to be hospitalized in Larned before I was released to continue on the trek. I got to see the high school and that was about it. I love your journeys across Kansas. Someday, I'd like to revisit Jetmore and the other cities and towns I previously patronized almost a decade ago. I saw more of the town through your travels than I did on my own two feet... or my bike, for that matter.
Just watched this video about Jetmore. It is a neat clean town. So many of the old towns used the limestone rock to make their buildings. They last forever even through tornadoes. I liked the nice kitty at the end. We would have been disappointed if you didn't show a death go round, but you did. We had a chuckle about the bell surprising you. It was louder than you thought. 😅 A good video as usual.
A squirt, a spurt or is it a gush. Now matter how you define it, seeing Jetmore is a must. A pleasant eruption on the prairie is the center of it all, including the great county rock hall. With dueling tanks parked cheek to cheek, and an athletic field to be proud of Travel with a Wise Guy gave us a superb peek Ok it’s lame but Jetmore looks like a great place to wander around in. Good choice John
Nice video, thanks for sharing. I have been through Jetmore many times, but never got to stop. When are you going to do a video about Ness county? Soon I hope.
I tried real hard to call ahead to get into the museum but no one ever answered the phone and I couldn’t leave a message 😢 looked cool from the window!
Surprised to see Jetmore featured. Ben there many times in my youth, had family friends that lived outside Calvesta. What did you think about the stone fence posts?
Great video! In my opinion Jetmore is one of the prettiest towns in Kansas. Now here's an interesting history fact from Jetmore: Back in 1977 some Columbian drug lords landed a DC‐6 aircraft full of weed out on the highway west of town! The highway patrol said it was 10-12 tons of product.... They were arrested...

I don’t mind you not keeping it brief 😂 good ratings and yes that’s something mural is really nice!
I haven't been to Jetmore in decades, but I remember it is a very cool town. Thanks for the memories!
I enjoyed it for sure!
That looks like a really cool town. Those buildings look amazing. Pretty much what you think of when you think of small town America.
I had never been there so it was definitely a pleasant surprise seeing those old buildings on Main Street! Congrats on 200k you’re killing it!
Thanks for including the kitty at the end.
🐈 😊

Haha yes I’m pretty sure the ENTIRE town would’ve heard that bell 😂😂 Thanks!
Husband worked in the oil fields back in the 70's, used to drive through Jetmore back then. Enjoyed the video!
Nice! I’ve got more from the county coming soon!

Couldn't agree more! Glad I was able to visit!
Very nice town, really like how those folks take pride in their town.
Been there many times! I'm still waiting for a Fowler Kansas video 🙃
I need to get back to Meade County someday 😊
Thanks for the compliments and nice video of our little town. Come out and enjoy the County Fair, Horse Theif Reservoir and City Lake, the Ranch Rodeo, awesome hunting, or just delicious food options and great ambiance.

Awesome! Rarely can go wrong with a local cafe!
Great place to live. Beautiful old buildings. The pride shows around the town and the school. Great town to showcase. Safe travels and GOD bless

Oh wow 😮 went to the hospital and still finished - legend!

Thanks! It was a fun town to hang out in for a while 😊 I’m glad I didn’t wake up the entire town with the bell ringing 😂

Not sure yet!
3:43 these buildings are proof of excellent skills of old masons.
I like the mural.
Beautiful!
@TravelwithaWiseguy I like it better than the wacky ones!
Very clean town!
Going to have to start using your contacts. Been there 3 times and the Museum was closed.
I tried real hard to call ahead to get into the museum but no one ever answered the phone and I couldn’t leave a message 😢 looked cool from the window!

I explored all around the county and saw a lot of them. Much like Lincoln County!
GREAT TOWN COACH 😊
Thanks! 😃
Very nice town, I would move there. Lots of buildings for the amount of population.
Agreed - very nice little town!

Definitely an underrated little town! Wow I didn’t know about that 😮
Hodgeman county was where William Money (Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven) had his farm.
I would live there all you need is a grocery store a liquor store and a doctor's office
They’ve got all 3 😊
I'm on social security I hope they have cheap rent
Nice short video.
Thanks!
That room is almost as big as my apartment LOL.
😂
I hope you didn't go in that tavern...you have been naughty enough this past year and Santa knows...🎅🏼
No comment 🍻
What would be wrong with that, looks family friendly
Kitty!
did ur brother hack you and put the "what she said" at the end LOL
Haha yes that’s something he would do 😂
Why the name change?
They ended up naming it after a railroad official. I totally forgot to include that.
@TravelwithaWiseguy
Thank you. many, many, towns, across this nation, have gotten their names, in the same way.
Glad you left the toilet seat down this time. 😅
👀
10:12 poor hungry female cat :-(
☕☕☕☕☕☕☕
❤️
Who is paying that Jetmore electric bill? They have a ton of street lights downtown!
😂😂
AWESOME VIDEO ❤
Thanks 🤗
