    Thank you very much!,
    His way of explaining is very encouraging, I started from 0, and it is so easy to understand him.(and with translated subtitles)
    is big!

    Thank you for improving over the years on your content information and how you present it. Is it posable to do a Klipper video on a 3 in to 1 shared nozzle setup with a BTT Octopus with a non Pi like a Rock Pi4? This will help me solve the extruder setup and how to get the power function to work on a non pi... I can not get access Via Klipper to the Rock Pi 4 GPIO ports.... (cli commands work good) I am tired of have to use the SD card to print in Marlin VS the usb due to the protocol overhead on the usb bus, printing faster then 90mm/s.... I fell in to the rabbit hole of klipper and ran out and back to Marlin for a few jobs I had to print. I solved all but the 3 in to 1 and the power issue (the power issue I did find a workaround , but not what I wanted) If you can help me understand the 3 in to 1. Not just coding but how / why the code works that way. I will make sure I "Like" it.

    Hey Chris I realy like you MKS Skipr install videos. I used this series to set up my board. I have a question, can you make a video about how you setup an EBB 36 CAN- Thoolhead Board on der MKS skipr. I already searched on google but I couldnt find a good howto (and I am bad at coding). So if you or someone else knows a good instruction or a vid I would realy appreciate it if I can get to it.

    If you set position_min to -33 you can set position_endstop to -33, then 0 would be correct for the y-axis.

      @@ChrisRiley Upon looking heavily into the topic there is a 3 pin header on the board marked 3dtouch next to the two LCD headers, After hooking the control,5v and ground to that header and the switch and ground pins to an endstop header and defining the sensor pin to ^PA13 and control pin to PA8 under [bltouch] aswell as setting Z endstop to Z_virtual_endstop now everything works perfectly, hopefully this information can help somebody else.

  • @zakspop
    @zakspop 7 месяцев назад +1

    So what is the voltage supposed to be coming out of the endstops. I'm getting @.05v. I thought they were supposed to be 5v.

    • @ChrisRiley
      @ChrisRiley  6 месяцев назад

      It depends on the board, but you should get 5v when it's triggered from the GPIO pin. You can flip that in the firmware as well.

    Hello Chis. Very good explanations on all your videos. I'm having a crash with this messagem "Unable to read tmc uart 'stepper_x' register IFCNT". I have a TMC2240 and i can't find how to make the jumpers and the kippler configurations! Hope you can help me.

    • @ChrisRiley
      @ChrisRiley  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I don't know much about the 2240's yet, my guess is they have a different set of pins they use to talk to the board. I will see if I can get some info on them.

    Do you know how to connect the CR-Touch to this board? The cable is black and has 5 pins. I see the 3D Touch slot but that’s only 3 pins. Where do the other two pins go? What are the pin outs?

    • @ChrisRiley
      @ChrisRiley  3 месяца назад +1

      To make it work, the 5 pins have to be broken out. 3 go to the probe/servo pins, 2 go to z min endstop. support.th3dstudio.com/helpcenter/crtouch-sensor-pinout-sensor-side/

    Great video but it seems like a steep climb. It would be great if there was an "EZ Klipper" interface / compiler so I just entered what I needed and it did the rest.

    This is my first attempt at anything like this. Very overwhelming, but you break it down so that I can follow you. However, I am stuck. My sensor is not stopping the z axis. When I try to home it, it crashes into the print head and continues to try to move up until I hit the emergnecy stop. I have adjusted teh z offset all the way to 5 mm after rechecking all the steps up to this point. Nothing seems to be working. Please help!

    • @gabrielgryder
      @gabrielgryder Год назад

      I figured it out. The tronxy TR sensor is not 5V. I changed the sensor to the Z+ slot, changed the pin to PB14, and changed the the Z+ jumper from 5V to VIN.I can now home all.
