Fine looking bull , will be good to see his offspring when they arrive. Congratulations on your purchase, certainly opened my eyes to the cost of the animals. Great video as always, take care and stay safe 👍
Hey lovely bull, great that you stuck with a simmental. We are naming the calf crawford, the kids picked it anyway. Hope you give us a little plug in 1 your videos. Cheers. Best of luck with the bull.
He’s a specimen!! Hope Big Mike can be Magic Mike with the ladies and you have loads of happy healthy mothers and calves in the future. That champion was a big bugger like wasn’t he!!! Wonder how long it will be before he pays for himself, you could of got decent defender and discovery for his price. Great video keep them coming Crawford
Nice looking beast 👍👍 Big Mick love it. Baxter is coming on nicely mate. Keep up the Good work. I must say I farm we farm does have a clean place. Must have people cleaning up for him 🤣
They had a Dexter on the farm here who used to hobble along after the cows in the fields and usually just hung around looking bored. Then one day he was in the long, narrow field in front of the farm at the end of the lane, and I was thinning the wood directly across the valley the other side of the cow field. Rather than walk down the lane, through the farmyard, then up to the next track to walk across to the wood, I decided to cut across the field; the bull and cows were right down at the far end in the dip, he limped along so slowly I reasoned I could be well clear by the time he got halfway up the long slope if he didn't like it, so I hopped over the fence and began to walk down towards the next field. No problem except, thrum thrummm thrummmmmm, I looked round and that dexter was coming up the field like an express train. I made the far fence at a flat run and leapt it (I was much younger) in a single bound. The bull stood there snorting with, I swear, laughter. All the time I was working in the wood I walked the long way round, observed carefully by that old dexter.
nice looking bull . you maybe dont keep your tackle imaculate but you are good farmers and maintaine your machines well and do things when they want doing
Goodness, that champion bull was a giant! What a fine beast that would've been...but that price...yeesh. I bet whoever bought him will make that back and more on his calves, though.
Mike, my man, you're a fine lookin' beast. Best get used to the fact that a RUclipsr has bought you. Camera time is in your future. Crawford, good luck with your purchase. Hope Landward and Cammy treats you and yours with the respect you're due (dirty tractor cabs and all).
Mike looks grand, looks calm, nice conformation. Then again so was euro. Are you going to try and keep halter walking him so he stays easier to handle?
@@CrawfordsFarm1 I guess that's the difference with dairy cows, you're milking twice a day whereas beef have less interaction close quarters. Guess it's like cleaning the cab, would like to but other priorities. Good luck with him and hope he has Percy's temperament, with better performance.
The black paint on JCBs is terrible ,we had 7 JCBs over the years and every one the paint was bad .Stangely the yellow paintwork was very good .The seat covers were also a bad point on them never lastig more than 10 or 12 months. Nice bull by the way hope hé delivers for you.
Without sounding as if I am stalking you - was that you taking the spreader back on Wednesday - turning off the A9 at Dunkeld? I was just heading to Gatwick from Inverness...
Mike looks good. Now with breeding season coming up, it will be interesting to see the quality of calves produced in the future. Crawford, out of curiousity, has Gloagburn considered AI and if tried, how did that work out? Thank you!
I hope you're gonna keep my ears to be in leather round it comes in handy when you gotta handle them a little bit more but get used to him 1st there was some very expensive beef tvery expensive beef there walking around wasn't there
You behave yourself Mike, I'm sure you will have a great time. Bare over the new 2 legged creatures around you, they wake you up because they care about you. Not to give you a reason to run them over first chance you get 😁
Big Mike, looking good.... I watch a farmer from Manitoba, Canada, and he takes off his shoes before getting into his tractor, spotless inside. 👍👍
Aw man don’t have the patience to do that
Nice video, haven't watched for a while nice to see the new pup.

Congrats on buying the bull I was dying to know what you'd get. He looks a proper belter. You'll have lovely replacements out of him.

nice looking bull . you maybe dont keep your tackle imaculate but you are good farmers and maintaine your machines well and do things when they want doing

Are you still getting rid of euro after his behaviour?
Not yet
Handsome bull. And surely you want him to be Magic Mike rather than Mighty Mike (for this evenings movie/TV show references)?
My puppy is just a bit older that yours and he woke up and watched when Baxter was yipping. 😂 That’s some bull.
🤣
Magic Mike!
🤣

Yeh we have replaced the seat 👍🏼
Can you do a video on your highland
Without sounding as if I am stalking you - was that you taking the spreader back on Wednesday - turning off the A9 at Dunkeld? I was just heading to Gatwick from Inverness...
Was kev 👍🏼
@@CrawfordsFarm1 slumming it in the Ford!
Mike looks nice and quiet but time will tell, Baxter is going to end up as mad as a hatter,
How did the new tyres preform on the muck heap ?
Yeh fine, not amazing grip but was no issue
Is all bulls tested for fertility before being sold. ? 👍
Not all, specified on the sale details per bull
always wanted a bull but its finding a spare 6 to 8 grand for one
So we have a Big Mic (Joe Seels) and a Big Mike now, could get confusing. Can't say wjich I think is the most hansome.🤣🤣🤣
Mike ;)
Big Mike is a fair beast your fair advertising Stewart trailers just now your more like farmer Phil than I Farm we farm rough but get the work done 😂
Need a trailer 🤣
@@CrawfordsFarm1 😂Thought there might be a new one on the way

Mike looks good. Now with breeding season coming up, it will be interesting to see the quality of calves produced in the future.
Crawford, out of curiousity, has Gloagburn considered AI and if tried, how did that work out?
Thank you!
No, alot of time and planning needed. Prefer the ‘chuck a bull in’ method. Let him do the business on his time not ours
Whit a size o bass oan the bull at the end o the video
28.000 Guineas, I'd want that sh1t he did as well for my garden. Lotta dosh but good balls, bull.
Stirling far from you're house?
Are bulls and other livestock sold in guineas at auction like horses?
Yes 👍🏼
Morning crawford how's the go pro
Dirty
Mike- strong name. Non of this stupid name nonsense.
I hope you're gonna keep my ears to be in leather round it comes in handy when you gotta handle them a little bit more but get used to him 1st there was some very expensive beef tvery expensive beef there walking around wasn't there
Major and minor. Very musical but the music was too strong.
Let's hope Mike throws some good calves.
NO, NO, NO ... Duncan told you to buy #60 !!!
🤣
How is the money man
In the field with highlanders, so hes chill at the moment
You behave yourself Mike, I'm sure you will have a great time. Bare over the new 2 legged creatures around you, they wake you up because they care about you. Not to give you a reason to run them over first chance you get 😁
