I miss this squirrel - funny, happy, enjoying what he does
OMG, the part where you got stuck inside the train was hilarious. It reminds me of this one time several years ago when I was like 9 or 10 and we had just flown into Pisa. They have a train station attached to the airport, I stepped onto a train and the doors closed and I was the only person on it. I started freaking out, crying and screaming. Some conductor guy came from inside the train and pushed a little button and the doors opened, thank god. Oh memories.
I have just got this game and can not wait to try it.Your commentating on this game is fantastic. You have made watching your briefing a great experience and i actually sat in front of my pc and watch your complete briefing. Love the part when you said hello to the woman in the short dress at the beginning of your briefing and also when you got stuck on the other train. Danny was so talkative too lol, Thank you for making this briefing so enjoyable and well worth watching.

Really looking forward to WOS4. The 7 line was pretty much the backdrop of my life when I lived in NYC. I'm also glad they modeled the iconic "redbirds", which are now being used as artificial reefs. It'd be nice to see the old World Fair livery as well, but hardly a letdown based on how it's looking.
WOS3 is probably the best in the series so far.

Every time I visit London, I really like using the subway trains. I guess coming from Birmingham, this is a luxury we don't have, but very much need! Plus it is just straight up fun......
Hi Squirrel. I have traveled that particular route A LOT. The distance between stations is accurate enough. For example the distance between Goldhawk Road and Shepherds Bush market is pretty much bang on.
I believe that the circular speed limit sign is for the main rail, and the square sign is for the switches.
Going to give WoS 3 a try. This looks actually playable. WoS NYC was nothing short of annoying, not to mention buggy as hell. Doors that wouldn't open, cursor disappearing, reverser operates when it feels like it. Haven't tried Berlin yet. We'll see

I can't even finish the first mission because Danny walks into two people and gets stuck.
I am a Ex tube driver and this sim is so realistic to the controls of the train to the signals. Fantastic. Danny have you got a knife.🤣🤣🤣🤣 shunt is the lowest speed used when stabilising trains in depot. Finding a red light on the station starter does not always mean a train in front. Could be a controlled area usually a crossover.

The speed signs showing white numbers on a black background are warning you of a speed limit ahead, the white round signs with black numbers are actually the speed limit markers ;)
You'll want to have your cab door right behind the metall sign at the end of platforms to fit the whole train in!

The announcements alone makes me want to buy this game.
I'd still like to see a deep-level tube simulator. Always liked the idea of a Jubilee or Victoria line simulator. I know it may get boring, but it would be perfect for tube geeks like myself. Another dream is basically a 'London Transport Simulator', which could be Dovetails South London Network, World of Subways 3 (plus all other lines) and maybe London Bus routes all rolled into one simulator with a fully navigable central and greater London.
But let's face it, it ain't happening.

Do you have the raildriver controller? Because it works with it. (i have one and it works flawlessly, only annoyance is to hold the dead man's switch)

Shunt means short out the wires or bypass the circuit so with the tube it would be cruise.
No joke, I went to Legoland Windsor when I was 8 and we used the LU to change. On the way home, going from Paddington to Euston, I walked into an S5 stock and almost got stuck. I quickly ran out, I was so scared 😦

Shunt is when you're in the depot either shunting trains or just putting the trains into the sidings.
Squirrel there are many types of signal...fast tracks follow 4 point signalling like you saw in rail simulator..metros use 2 point signalling...
4 point signaling means green, yellow, double yellow, red...
very rarely 3 point or 5 point signaling are used.
number of point means the effective full speed signal gap between trains...
Edgware Road is not to be confused with just Edgware a separate station in North London served by the Northern line

I can vouch for this and say it is fairly realistic in the operation factor of trains, but it doesn't do the other parts of being a tube driver, or how much more Danny actually does as an io

Hi Paul can you please do a video on what you use to play ETS2 because I'm looking at getting a steering wheel, gear stick and pedals for Christmas, PLEASE HELP!!
I think the mess up in time was due to all of the time you spent walking around when the signals were green or you should've started the trip back immediately instead of getting stuck :P The game just didn't update to match the time you actually left at. Looking forward to more!
