Well, it’s a lot easier to blame someone else for your problems than actually take responsibility and do the work to change things. Tony has had five years to make the effort to do better and he has not done it.
I like how the negative news is planted but the positive ones about supposed huge new deals from unconfirmed sources are to be believed. Tony won't come out and deny the reports of a $170m a year tv deal.
I watched Eric Bischoff break down the likely overhead versus the TV revenue. If his numbers are even close, AEW may make a profit, but it’s not going to be the type of money some seem to think.
I’d love to see them bring Zilla Fatu in as a savage like Umaga was with Armando as his manager, build him up for a bit before Survivor Series and have him be Roman’s counter/equal to Jacob Fatu when that rumoured War Games match happens.
If you're going to claim all these sources are incorrect all the time, it would be great if you added any kind of explanation. It's not like professional wrestlers are known for honesty either.
Vince might not have seen AEW as competition, but Hunter 100% does and I'm all for it. Since AEW began fans have been saying "They say they don't, but the do" and now that its clear, a lot of them are crying foul when WWE programs in competition against them. Thing it, THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE. AEW needs to evolve or fall to the wayside like TNA and all the rest. The ball is in Tony Khans corner, time to sack up.
Everyone's claims as to whether or not AEW will be profitable is BS because nobody outside of AEW knows what their operating costs are, and the only things we do hear about it is when they boast about "huge" new contracts. And I'm not saying that Tony should release his numbers, it's his private company, but we also shouldn't care. If he says they're profitable, then good for them, though people seem to forget that he said the same thing before year one was even over. At the end of the day, if the increase they get is enough that the billionaire Tony is comfortable enough to continue running AEW then that's all that matters.
You'll always have an advantage in head to head competition if you have three different roasters. You have the leverage of special appearances (wink wink WWE). And it wouldn't work if your roaster is one big potato mess(wink wink AEW).
For contracts. I know Alexa bliss was supposed to expire around or after Wrestlemania. But has been extended due to pregancy, cancer stuff and her on that one show on Fox.
I'm wondering if the new AEW TV deal will include next-day streaming on Max or another platform. Cord cutting isn't going to stop, and cable/live-TV streaming packages are expensive. You can stream AEW shows on the associated TNT and TBS apps currently, but those apps require an active subscription to either cable/live-TV to stream. WWE already has next-day streaming with NXT on Peacock. TNA also has next-day streaming with it's own service, TNA+. I really want to give AEW another try, especially after seeing the awesome highlights from All Out. But the lack of legal streaming options prevents me from doing so, and cable TV is simply becoming unaffordable for many people.
I wouldn't call Natalia a big name. But Sheamus re-signing came out of left field. I would have bet everything on him going to AEW once his contract ended because of all his complaining along with him not getting his IC title. He had to of gotten a massive pay day to stay. He's going to be the guy who loses to the new talent. The Dolf Zigler.
@@TheHuskerGeno he's a medium name. A midcarder. I'm not saying that to disparage him. He could become a big name in future. But currently he's not a big name
I like Ricochet a lot... and he's a GREAT wrestler... but that's where it ends.. he's not very good on the mic and I don't think I could ever see him as a bad guy and be believable.
NXT is the only show AEW is competing with. When you can give them 1 million viewers and they STILL can't match RAW or Smackdown, that's not competition
@CYPERY0N do understand what competition means. I think you may be a little confused. AEW is definitely competition. AEW is about to become the 2nd most profitable wrestling company ever. Above wcw. Was wwf really competition to wcw when they couldn't get half the ratings nitro did? the answer is still yes.

Nothing like Luke calling people who watch his videos assholes because they might have a Twitter account.
Wrestletalk marking out for AEW is becoming very cringey
"People in the comments will tell you AEW is not competition ñaaaa"
what are you talking about?
How is stating a fact marking out for one company?
The only thing AEW is competing with is NXT.
@@CYPERY0Nand they struggle to beat them in ratings.
Why listen to ole dave? Hes liead about idk how much stuff
The difference is to see smack down now you gotta have cable when fox is basic or what we call basic and fox is free
Plus soon you will have to have Netflix to see Raw
Speaking on contracts did you miss that Pat McAfee announcement yesterday where they said Shamus signed an extension
and no one cares on MONE MOVING ON
I’d love to see them bring Zilla Fatu in as a savage like Umaga was with Armando as his manager, build him up for a bit before Survivor Series and have him be Roman’s counter/equal to Jacob Fatu when that rumoured War Games match happens.
He’s good but still pretty green
@@Verolader that’s fair. I think with the right set of trainers and people helping bring him up he’d end up growing into the role.
@@thegame7134 Have you seen his recent GCW run, they pushing him well I think.
thank you for putting timestamps on your videos, or whatever they're actually called
3:53 HA! Wayne's World 2 reference. Good one, Luke
If you're going to claim all these sources are incorrect all the time, it would be great if you added any kind of explanation. It's not like professional wrestlers are known for honesty either.
Bloodline the storyline that'll N-E-V-E-R end....
My name is AaaarMANdo... AleJANdro... EstrrrrRADA! (Ha Ha) And he is theee SaaaMOAN Bulldozer... UUUUUMAGA! (Ha Ha)
I am for the idea of Armando managing Zilla. It would be nice to see a Samoan debut in WWE and not jump right into The Bloodline.
Once Shane O’Mac arrives……
🎵Here comes the money!!!🎵
I’m expecting a 2025 unified bloodline invasion. Triple H loves playing the long game!
NXT is always on Tuesdays Dynamite is going to Tuesday for that week so WWE aren't going after anyone.
Just make dynamite, a three hour show and make shockwave a two hour show and you still have collision
Smackdown in now on cable..that's why it didn't have better viewership..Fox was free. 😢😢😢😢
I hate how WrestleTalk is becoming bias. I always viewed you guys differently
More so since MJF was on the show.
@@Decoyx3 damn I didn't even consider that point. You're right
This is the second time this week I noticed that they are poking cornettes podcasts.
@@AlmightyTooth Really? I haven't listened to him in about 2 weeks. I probably should catch up
They literally just gave Raw a 9/10
I never noticed the background music until i put on my headphones. I do the same in my videos
May as well call it the Bloodlineverse. It will never end
Zilla wrestles in Realities of wrestling and lets be honest that is a WWE farm company. Especially with Booker at the head
Wwe does not think AEW is competition 🤣🤣🤣 what competition? Who can sign the oldest wrestlers?
You'll always have an advantage in head to head competition if you have three different roasters. You have the leverage of special appearances (wink wink WWE). And it wouldn't work if your roaster is one big potato mess(wink wink AEW).
Maybe WWE is also trying to get a weekend show on! It will be a roster of only the Bloodline!
You needed the wimpy Orange Cassidy thumbs up at the end. Would have been hip.
Most profitable since wcw.... Yup, we saw how that ended
I cant believe how archaic the way they chart tv ratings here is, good grief.
Good work mates
For contracts. I know Alexa bliss was supposed to expire around or after Wrestlemania. But has been extended due to pregancy, cancer stuff and her on that one show on Fox.
All i know about is aew is this whoever was in charge of direction and development of the wrestling game needs to never go anywhere near the next one.
Love the Wayne’s world 2 reference Luke!
Just turn heel and break the law
pooping goes better with Wrestle Talk
Smackdown is no longer a show it is now SmackSown 😂
AEW still needs a presence on Max even if is not PPVs. They still have five years of tv footage and 3/4 more years with that new tv deal.
AEW needs to get a TV deal for ROH.
aew has been garbage ever since larry left. bring back larry
Aew is reason wwe has succeeded in last couple years and Sami Zayn if course. But wwe hates Aew because it makes contracts go waay up
Couldnt have any thing to do with wanting to start NXT as strong as posible on their new home no it has to be because of aew
Nope it's clearly because WWE are shaking in their boots over a show that needs repeats of a sitcom to even reach 600k viewers.
I want to watch a match where all of them hit a Samoan drop but cody
I wouldn't call Natalia a big name. But Sheamus re-signing came out of left field. I would have bet everything on him going to AEW once his contract ended because of all his complaining along with him not getting his IC title. He had to of gotten a massive pay day to stay. He's going to be the guy who loses to the new talent. The Dolf Zigler.
Ricochet, a big name?
Sure.
Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he isn't a big name.
Aew is not competition for WWE. You mark!
yes it is, are you really that stupid?
It's true.. they aren't. I enjoy both companies but Tony worries to much about WWE.
@Decoyx3 AEW and Tony don't think about WWE. It's the wwe fan girls that can't stop talking about AEW.
What happened to Shinsuke Nakamura?
You know, you guys may repeat what they say, But you guys do it better
wwe/tko signing long term deals with current wrestlers not fear of signng with AEW but Potential Shane?Vinne Mac start up a new promotion
Estrada? A "Legends" Contract?
Wiseman for solo??
Today's my birthday
AEW has gone to another level
Downgraded*
Big names like Natalya is crazy😂😂😂
AEW mark
wwe fangirl.
Armando, Solo's Wiseman
Good Morning Everyone ✊🏾 🌄
There is competition between the two. Podcasters just like to stir the pot.
My country ban Twitter, and I love him for that
Blomkamo has made one good movie, and it wasn’t that good. I wouldn’t let him near my IP either.
Ahhh the News ☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕
Aew didn't get 1bill in the deal cuz 1bill Phil ain't there. Duh!
Wayne's Word 2 reference, Nice!
enough with this gd bloodline bs.. even nwo came to an end!!
Are those plans that it's finally ending?
