However, the spearfishing market is tiny - here's some of the research I found: According to various sources, the number of spearfishing enthusiasts in the U.S. is estimated to be between 100,000 to 300,000 individuals. The average annual spending per spearfishing enthusiast is estimated at anywhere from $500 to $2,000 annually on the hobby. With that in mind, the TAM for spearfishing in the United States is likely to be in the range of $50 million to $600 million annually, depending on the actual number of participants and their spending levels. If you pull $150 million out of your you know where, even 1% of the market doesn’t really seem to make the juice worth the squeeze. I also did some queries on monthly web traffic for various 'popular' spearfishing websites. The traffic was abysmal.
During covid people had negative tax benefits as jet prices were soaring buy a jet for 4mil then 6 months later it's worth 8mil good luck reporting you depreciateing asset.....
