Thanks again for having me on Sam! Always fun to catch up.
It's always great hearing you talk on podcasts.
Love the drum analogy with holding too tight.
What an incredible podcast. What an interesting, smart yet humble person.incredibkr communication skills I wish I had friends with whom I could have these types of conversations.
Hit 200k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 17k in last month 2024.
Wow, that's more than a mouthful of profits you're making. How do you achieve this feat consistently? You must be a genius!
I'm 63yrs and have been looking for ways to be successful?
Sylvia' nicolas understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profits. her siignals are top notch..
For real? I'm super excited. Sylvia Nicolas strategy has normalized winning trades for me also. and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
she is outstanding so well mannered teacher, glad i saw this here the knowledge you will gain is for a life time. Now is the time to invest in your education for 2024.
Why have you stopped numbering the podcasts? Hard to match up to the podcasts on Apple etc if you only get half way .. as the titles are sometimes different for RUclips to podcasts! Please return to numbering the podcasts for those of us who use both RUclips and podcasts app interchangeably!! Pleaseeeeeee!!
It's in the description
@@ThatsCemthanks. But if you’re scrolling through all 500 episodes to find a specific episode 127 for example, harder to search or match on both podcasts and RUclips if you have to individually go to each video and read daicriptions! Numbers used to be in the title as a hashtag before.
Just a suggestion to the team, to bring it back as it was useful for those of us who enjoy both mediums or are looking for specific episodes to go back to.
description is indexed during search aka they are doing their part.
@@thewavechef yep, description and tags are indexed in search!
Number in description is better
I honestly think Jason Fried is one of my favorite "thought leaders" in the space. So much more realistic compared to other people.
Listening to your podcast feels like having a close friend right there, engaging in a diverse array of discussions. thank you guys
Agreed … these guys are my friends :)
100% agree! I wish there was an infinite amount of these podcasts
This is EPIC
"You go back and listen to something you heard a year ago, you’re like man we are so wrong about so many things and so many things we were worried about never happened."
Sam - the new insight on old biographies is genius. I love that. Thank you for sharing.
Great questions by both Sam and Jason. Appreciate the honesty and openness. Thank you!
What a great episode. So relatable on many things. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Great info… I learn a lot from this podcast. Even the super random side notes or things like Jason flushing out an idea, and asking “does that make sense at all?” … it’s nice to see successful, thoughtful people questioning if their own thoughts make sense. Makes me think of how everyone in life is just making it up as we go.
Anyway, thanks gentlemen!
Sam, this is my favorite episode of yours, it's such a great conversation, it felt honest and in the "zone", I learned a lot!
What a great pod. Extremely useful episode. Total banger 🔥
Love your content and this interview!
Would love to see more entrepreneurs who are in the early stages where they have failed 2-3 times and are just starting to get something off the ground.
Diving deep into what didn't work and what did work this time around would be awesome!
Jason is the best!
I was looking at Sam's list, buggy site for me. At the top it says Top Ecomm CPA Firms and it's ECOM CPA with the endorsement from Curt Nichols - Client for 3-12 months - May 24, 2024 - Founder at Glade Optics: "Not recommended. Unresponsive and late with everything. They ended up refunding us because of how bad the experience went. Avoid. "
That doesn't seem like the top Ecomm CPA to me.
Fantastic ep guys
I think business at the end of the day boils down to people so if you have mastery of extracting the best out of people in any arena business naturally is the best way to extract value from that skill
My favorite podcast! Love guys. Yeah so It’s not the money that firm has or what school you went to or any of that. Once you understand, business, accounting valuation, etc. We’re all on a level playing field nowadays, it all comes down to temperament end a story. Patients to finally allocate capital into a company you’ve been waiting for. And patients once you’re in it, the world is going the opposite way with patients and temperament so this is a huge asset if you have it.
What a fantastic conversation.
we calm down overtime when we become financially secure, because by definition, you are no longer in as much fear about your survival… that simple
LFG!! Cant wait to listen to this one ❤️🔥
Hit me up for drum lessons, Jason and Sam!
Very useful. Thanks
Love the list idea 💡
Amazing!
I put a drum set in my office too, I like this dude 😂
Ace episode, Sam!
Embracing risk and learning to delegate can transform challenges into opportunities, fostering innovation and resilience . 🚀
Sam as open as you are with the world...I am sure you won't fall into the trap of not sharing enough with your family!!
This guy looks like old Zuckerberg
lets goooooooo!!!
Yooo… dropped another one!
Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity.
So, in the FAQs it says ”Sam’s List is free to use. We’re still figuring out our business model, but for now, there’s no cost to browse, contact, or get matched with accountants on our platform”, but Sam claims he made USD 20'000 from it in a month. Which one is true?
Hi Sam, which weekly bowling league are you in?
I don't think business is absorbing all of the lessons. I think it's motivating your navy seals etc to spend the time sharing them, and then everyone else also gets a chance to hear about what they've learnt.
I need whatever camera Jason Fried is using 🔥🔥🔥
This is great. There have been many local apocolypses in history though.... (Eg say for european jews in the 30's)..
Hi
So far over 7 years ive done 400% gains so im definitely out performing the market for now lol. I sell my positions when my uncle, mum, friends start to ask about them ''hey have you heard about this gamestop thing?'' .... SELL!
Hate these podcast interviewers who love the sound of their voice. Let Jason speak ffs. He's the one I want to hear.
Then you should just leave this podcast cause it’s his and Shaan podcast, not Jason’s.
They are not “interviewers”, they are businessmen that post their conversations with other businessmen.
Jason is just the guest of the day. And we like him, but he is not doing an interview.
You should have Chris Camilo from @Dumb Money to talks about investing called social arbitrage.
That’s a great idea. That’d be a fun interview
I would pay money for a play-by-play case study of Sam’s List
It’s hard to compare institutional investing to retail. The mechanics are so different. And esp high frequency to regular day trading/scalping and options. Completely different animal.
It's a rush because it's like 'I still got it'.
I would absolutely not take 7.5% if I couldn't also invest on my own. Someone could just put their safe money with Northwestern Mutual and invest everything else however they would like.
Can you share with us how you’re monetizing Sam list? What did you learn and figure out to bring that $20k in??
Plato's view
Hold on Loosely
But don't let go...
i still dont understand why someone would choose 7.5% guaranteed considering S&P500 averages 11.35% in last 50 years and also - 4% inflation makes 7.5% look even worse. It's basically freezing capital, not investing
I always thought the 7.5% return that people discuss was in reference to the fact that you have to remove inflation from the average S&P500 returns because inflation is eating away at 3-4% of the returns.
So the 7.5% is an inflation adjusted number 🤷♀️
11:36 It's called the overview effect. There was a short doc about it ruclips.net/video/CHMIfOecrlo/видео.html

Worst take of the year: No crossover from sports / military to business.
He looks like mark zuck loo
You really think everyone in the flyover states are idiots. 😂
I'm from a flyover state.
I understand, but the way you say “I think my audience is from the coast and they are really smart…” maybe you do have a heavier coastal audience and I might be an idiot but it doesn’t mean we all are.
Is it just me or is it weird that you didn’t introduce the guest at all?
Just you Karen
