    Ive been using Creatine Monohydrate for a few months now, not once has it given me cramps, gas, or a feeling of dehydration, although every experience varies to some degree I’m sure.

    I have kidney problems and the doctor said that I have my creatine too high. So thank you for explaining what that is

    • @TeamOrdigamer
      @TeamOrdigamer 6 месяцев назад

      It's possible your are confusing creatine with creatinine. If you don't take creatine supplements and if you have kidney problems, your doctor was likely referring to elevated creatinine, which is a substance that your body produces which is normally eliminated at the same rate by the kidney. Doctors look at the creatinine in your blood to see if your kidney is working properly (in which case the creatine levels would be in a normal range) or not, in which case your kidneys would filter/eliminate less of the creatinine and thus leave higher concentrations in the blood. I'm not sure what your exact situation is but don't hesitate asking your doctor next time!

      If you are young enough to need your parents permission, you don't need creatine.
      If you are a teenager, your body is already in a an anabolic state due to increased hormone production. You need just 3 things to build strength and muscle.
      1) A good consistent training routine.
      2) Good nutrition. Enough calories to grow and enough protein. I will also include enough water. Even slight dehydration has a negative effect on training. Muscles is mostly water.
      3) Recovery, meaning enough time away from training and enough good quality sleep.
      Easy enough to research training and nutrition. Supplements really have nothing to offer until you are seriously following 1, 2, 3. You are better off having a really solid baseline, before supplementing. The only supplement at your stage is a good protein. You can get it from food, but shakes following work outs do help. - Cheers
