      That forgettable 'penthouse' is soooo small... the only person that would buy that, is someone laundering money, (and as it's Toronto, well we all know there are plenty of people doing just that for decades and collecting rent with all of the empty units in those downtown towers.)

      What's even the point in lying about this 1.4 million cad is like £1 million - £1 million in the financial district in London gets you like a 1 bedroom, definitely not two stories, no balcony and probably appliances have this size because the kitchens there are shit - Canada's housing market is shit, but lets keep it real. PS. At least we can afford heating :)

    Nope u got Homeless and drunk people crawling around in the area. 9:18 as soon as you open that door you’ll see Shangrila Hotel/Condo AND HOMELESS 😂which of course is not mention in this video 😂. I walk pass the area day and night for over 10 years to work to know how bad it is

    as local 675 member that builds these buildings for the last 15 yrs, (moved from east coast), i would say very much yes it's worth it, with 200k+ reno!!!! as you panned the views i could see quite a few i've worked in as i was trying to see if i worked in the one you were showcasing!! i have not, btw the balcony is 7'x 40ish as i couldn't count the length. those slabs are 2'x2', cheers!!

      Thank you for building the awesome condos I see around town! I agree this place with a renovation will be a showstopper. In Shangri La across the street similar condos sell for $1.8M

      @@thetorontolife very nice, i've been in the penthouses in Aura, boarded some units, and installed cornerbeads in some. i've also been in some worth 20 million+, for deficiencies, i get to see what goes into building these condos, very interesting career!!

    For 1.4M you can two 3 bed houses new construction in Texas! Where it’s sunny, clean, less taxes, way more paying jobs, much more investment opportunities… and the list goes on

      Hey I'm a huge fan of Texas, and Toronto was once similarly priced. As Toronto became an interesting place to live and more people starting moving here, pricing shot up. I here Texas is pretty interesting nowadays, and maybe in 10 years they won't be so differently priced

    The terrace is nice but honestly, 1.4M seems overpriced. There's units with beautiful views of Lake Ontario, newly renovated, for that price and under.

      The maintenance fees are $1,606/month and they include : heat, AC, building insurance, common elements, and 2 parking spots.

    The kitchen cabinets are rental grade quality 😂 they could have at least done the kitchen and the island as a minimum, plus full size appliances in such a tiny kitchen eats away all the counter space

    Love the layout etc, but it’s definitely dated & needs a gut job to make it shine like a beautiful jewel - probably $100-200k reno depending on the connections the new owner has.

      The market for condos like this is still soft, plus this one has been on the market for a while and is a power of sale. I would estimate it could go as low as $1.25M or $1.3M @@americanmade-316

    not worth it at all!!! 250-350k more you can get in the shangri-la more square footage better building better layout 10X better ammenities. condo fees would be a couple hundred more but heating/cooling/water/cable/internet included. the condo fees at 1600sq ft prolly 0.87cents a foot equals 1350 aprx without utilities..

      Thanks for sharing. Shangri-La is an excellent condo, with awesome amenities. A condo of comparative size would be close to $1.9M in the Shang. But hey, you get what you pay for.

    Anyone who thinks that is nice is definitely on the spectrum. Toronto as a city sucks, that building sucks and that unit sucks. I’ve seen welfare housing projects nicer than that.
