Being able to walk 10 minutes to get anything you want is a great idea. It is one of the few things I miss about living in Toronto and this development embrassed that idea. The older one is the nicer one, but at a million, I will be happy in my home (bigger and worth a third of that) outside of Toronto. What do the condo fees and property taxes go for units like that?
Except you can't walk everywhere here. It's at the intersection of Don Mills and Lawrence. Though the shops at Don Mills do have a lot, it's mostly high-end specialty stores. Let's be honest; these units are advertised mostly to investors who know nothing about the area. 1,000,000 to live an hour outside of the downtown core is insane.
@@Matt-mk8ph Well if you can afford a million dollar condo, you don't need the dollar store..... There are also plenty of condo developments where you need a car to get anywhere. A large walking plaza is a great idea. A lot of the comments on this video seem to come from people with a political axe to grind.

Everything is too narrow.The Hallways(6-12 inches too narrow),bedrooms(room for queen bed and that's it,....no room for night stands or full size dresser/cramped), living rooms(shoebox 6x6... is not really a LR, lets be honest) 1mil. sure doesn't get a you much in the city, or any where for that matter. What has happened to Canada, ...we are shrinking food containers, living spaces etc....and calling it the NORM NOW + Over charging for vinyl flooring and cheap cupboards. Somebody is getting awfully rich of building these.
