You are my idol. I started my freshman year of college away from home in the fall of 2015. After one semester I decided I hated being away from home, and was unsure of my future, so I packed up my stuff and quit. Now its about two years later and I'm just now ready to go back to college. Ive always secretly played around with the idea of being a doctor, and over these last couple months its been really sticking with me. Although I am not 100% sure I want to pursue a career in medicine, I definitely think it is a good possibility. Being out of school for a while has made me a bit hesitant to go back, and also makes me doubt my abilities even though I know that I am intelligent. I found your channel about a year ago and it has been breath of fresh air. I just watched your video about your journey from high school to med school and it made me open my eyes because you said you had struggled a bit in school... and look at you know. You're becoming a doctor. You are such an inspiration. I remember in that video you mentioned that you didn't have an initial plan of what you wanted to do for a career. I was undecided about what I wanted to do for so long, and it makes me confident to hear that you started off confused and unclear about your future path too. I hope you accomplish everything you ever dreamed of. I hope I can too! Best of luck!!!

I was left handed as well, I grew up in China, and my mom trained me to use my right hand. 😂 But when it comes to certain things I like to use my left hand😅

Ehhhh I took fashion design my senior year, too! Mainly b/c it was that or ROTC. Also, that left handed struggle...think my dad did that to my youngest brother lol

Hi! I'm in 3rd year med school and I find it difficult to relax the day before exams :( I tend to study till late night and get just like 3-4hrs sleep. Any tips how I can make it a habit to calm down and relax the day before exams? 😅

MED school is tough but cool at the same time. you learn to juggle things infact you need to do something other than study all the time
for me it was gym but then i injured my shoulder so i resorted to youtube and soccer and am loving it.
i am in the preclinical years (3rd /6) but next its gonna be more hands on so i am excited about that.
its not always fun tbh, there are stressfull time studing something like skin where everything red is called the same thing--- but ill get there hopefully

BoredisGrid all of your medical school stuff (if you're in the US) is going to be in college! So don't even worry about it in hs. Just when you get to uni, meet with a counselor asap and let them know you want to follow a premed track! I would also recommend r/premed on reddit for advice!
