Honestly the bubbles don't even look bad, gives it a cool texture. If I didn't see the rest of the video and just saw that I would have assumed it was all intentional, reminds me of a shipwreck underwater with bubbles coming up out of the ship or something, your videos are incredible!
Thank you @Nightwishmaster. I also saw some RUclipsrs who's into resin art and some of their fail looks really good, just like some of the works of Nerdforge or Bobby Duke.
looks pretty good, I don't mind the epoxy imperfections, it adds character. I'd replace your pickups in a heartbeat, but that goes for most fenders/gibsons too
I wouldn’t have covered it after pouring the resin. You would’ve seen the bubbles forming and they could’ve been removed with a torch :) I like how the build turned out though 😀
that mightve worked though some of the bubbling was around the wood as the open cellstructure had some air trapped inside and that was pretty deep under the resin , those are harder to remove
Honestly a very nice guitar! My only nitpicks are don't wrap strings around locking tuners (13:42) and do not melt your solder wire on your iron instead of the copper (11:25 and 13:30). Oh and great playing btw :)
I'm sure you hated that the epoxy set up wrong But I think it adds a lot of character and certainly doesn't effect the sound or playability any Congrats on another guitar I would love to play
You Fender neck guys are so much more efficient with wood, you were able to get two necks. I would've only got one neck out of that piece because I need that 17 degree break angle so it'll snap the first time I set it down a little too hard and if i can do that in one piece without using a scarf joint, even better.
Naenjoy ko pa din Kuya Marlon, balanced yung BG music at natural sound nung mga tools mo sa pag gawa ng guitar. Parang gusto ko tuloy magpagawa ng custom telecaster haha!
Galing talaga lods... Parang niluto mo pa yung pick ups mo, ano yun lods? Nakita ko kasi sa other video mo hnd mo na gnwa yun yung resin pick up. Pro as usual linis pa dn labas ng pick up wlang hums.. naglagay ka pa din ba ng copper shield sa pick up? Gawa ka bamboo namn base or coconut wood maganda din cguro results nun,..
Thanks bro! Thanks!
hey that columbdrill spindlesander isnt a bad idea ...... btw i seen people use a spinle sander to make that part where the hradstock goes intoo the topnut , makes it nice and rounded maibe you need to paint the wood with verry thin resin and let it dry before adding it in the mould think the matt finish looks good , it makes the stratocaster shap vissible from a distance if someones playing the instrument , think having it fully seethrough would show as someone playing a weird shaped piece of wood so even if it wasnt intended to become matt/opaque i think it worked out fine , might put in some thing in the clear resin to make it at least semi transparent on the next try , maibe you can get some cluodyness in there like mist rolling over a cliff another option would be to make the wood intoo a kindof rough latticework stratocarter shaped ring and cast resin in the center of it
I only have 3 video clips building my CNC. I'm trying to figure out how to explain in video format how to build it, maybe show the dimensions and how everything works.
May I ask what caused the cracks and bubbles? You mentioned “sealing the edges”, do you mean of the wood form? Did air come from the pours of the wood?
I've never seen a failure look so amazing! Love the texture and framing of the shots too. Very cinematic. Is that a new camera? Music and captions look very professional. I don't even notice the bubbles anymore.
Vacuum or a pressure pot is only for bubbles that was introduced during stirring, the bubbles here came from the wood that's not sealed. I should have sealed the wood with a thin coat of resin or sanding sealer before pouring a thick layer.
We're the same, I've been building custom guitar for years and now decided to build resin guitars here on RUclips. I wish you all the best, I know you can do this 😊
Good work. But the soldering that is shown at 11:25 is unfortunately very unprofessionally carried out, and can lead to loose contact and high contact resistance, and thus negatively affect the sound quality. Everything should be checked and corrected if necessary. Greetings
Sorry I haven't explained haha it's only a sanding disk for a drill, surprisingly it's very effective on a bench press, that quickly leveled the neck straight.
It's the resin cracks and bubbles, I almost scratched the guitar project because of that. Resin is so expensive so I continued to finish it, maybe it might still look good in the end.
Thanks for inquiring. Right now I'm not selling these guitars, I might sell some in the future. But if I have to estimate, this type of guitar might be around a $1,000.

The bubbles give off a kind of glow from the sides of the wood. Gives a kind of cool, ethereal look.
Wood + Epoxy like fender final fantasy ,cool guitar 👍
Ang ganda naman ..mahusay ka gitara maker
Wonderful work and great result with a lovely sound. A unique instrument.
Thank you!
Cool project
That sound from a home made pick ups amazing👍
Thanks!
The bubbles and cracks give it character. Amazing job and design.
Thanks @Ding Dong!
I can tell that you've never done this before, 😆 😉 😜 I am just barely able to shape and cut a nut blank. God bless that talent. 🙏
Very nice..
Stunning...amazing job

Thank you!
Your an awesome Craftsman and Artist Sir.... More Power!....

Awesome job mate from how the body came out the cracks look like scars and add character
Thanks @JEMLICK! That's also the feedback I got from one of my friends.
Super sick love the design

Класс Супер гитара❤
You can make one just like jimmy page doble guitar.......this is a great idea
I'm sure you hated that the epoxy set up wrong

Congrats on another guitar I would love to play
100% I debated myself not to continue with this, but curiosity pushed me to finish it. Yup, it still sound nice.
Gives the wood a cool 'trapped under water' vibe to me. Sounds lovely as well!
I enjoyed this video so much! You have a ton of talent brother. And the guitar is BEAUTIFUL! 👍💜
you coil your own pick ups? wow! your videos are very satisfying sir! love the cnc parts. new sub here!
Thanks for your support!
This looks great!

Amazing. Do you sell these guitars?
Perfect
Hermosa una belleza
nice guitar build po sir!! napakaganda,
ano po bang kahoy ginamit sa fretboard sir?
Thanks! "Balayong" yung fretboard, nakuha ko sa friend ko.
Led guitare 🎸👏👏👏👏👏
hey that columbdrill spindlesander isnt a bad idea ......
btw i seen people use a spinle sander to make that part where the hradstock goes intoo the topnut , makes it nice and rounded
maibe you need to paint the wood with verry thin resin and let it dry before adding it in the mould
think the matt finish looks good , it makes the stratocaster shap vissible from a distance if someones playing the instrument , think having it fully seethrough would show as someone playing a weird shaped piece of wood
so even if it wasnt intended to become matt/opaque i think it worked out fine , might put in some thing in the clear resin to make it at least semi transparent on the next try , maibe you can get some cluodyness in there like mist rolling over a cliff
another option would be to make the wood intoo a kindof rough latticework stratocarter shaped ring and cast resin in the center of it

*Awesome 😃🙋🏻♂️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷*
A really good build.. A masterpiece.
Do you have any video of the diy CNC machine?
I only have 3 video clips building my CNC. I'm trying to figure out how to explain in video format how to build it, maybe show the dimensions and how everything works.
I would have used bronze mica powder or copper mica powder to add color to the body. Still nice build.
Freaking rad man!!
Grabe sir!💯💯 i was wondering magkano kaya ito hehe
Thanks Neil! For now not selling bro, di ko din alam ang pricing hehe.
Thank you for noticing sir!! I have been around sa work mo and promise. Gusto kong magpagawa ng bass naman🥹
May I ask what caused the cracks and bubbles? You mentioned “sealing the edges”, do you mean of the wood form? Did air come from the pours of the wood?
Guyker tuners. I've been wondering how they are. Seemed like one of the higher end cheaper new part manufacturers.
Yup, better than the generic tuners, gears are very smooth to use and stays in tune for a long time. It's a decent tuner.
Muito perfeito ❣️❣️❣️👋👋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ayos lods,magkano magpagawa lods
I've never seen a failure look so amazing! Love the texture and framing of the shots too. Very cinematic. Is that a new camera? Music and captions look very professional. I don't even notice the bubbles anymore.
Thank you for lending me your Sony a6000 for the B-Roll and thumbnail 💗
Kumusta po yung binili niyo na mace bandsaw? Nakita ko review mo sa shopee.
@jensaint123 maganda yung bandsaw, sulit. Naputol yung blade, kaya bumili ako ng bago.
Thanks sir.
Nice videos btw.
Wood expands with moisture.
sir pwede po ba magpagawa sa inyo ng custom electric guitar .?
if you do this again add a colour to the resin a nice galaxy resin or a sea blue with white swerled in
Yes I love the sea blue color, I'm experimenting with that color making miniature guitars.
❤️❤️❤️
Add LEDS in the epoxy next time
why dont you put the epoxy in a vacuum to get the bubbles out?
Vacuum or a pressure pot is only for bubbles that was introduced during stirring, the bubbles here came from the wood that's not sealed. I should have sealed the wood with a thin coat of resin or sanding sealer before pouring a thick layer.
@@GitaraMaker thank you for that, I have built guitars for years but now because of your videos I will try out a epoxy resin build. Wish me luck!
We're the same, I've been building custom guitar for years and now decided to build resin guitars here on RUclips. I wish you all the best, I know you can do this 😊
magkano po ba yung mga gawa nyong EG?
Still epico
Are you Davie? 😂
mga gaano kadami sir ang ngamit na epoxy resin sa body.tia
Nasa 2.5 liters ang nagamit ko.
Available on Amazon India?
Hi @F J T I'm currently not selling anything for now, but will post here on my RUclips if I'll sell one. Thanks for your interest.
Nice good?
when "fail looks cool" 😁 HAHA
Thanks bro!

7:55 what is that instrument of murder?? 😁😁
Sorry I haven't explained haha
it's only a sanding disk for a drill, surprisingly it's very effective on a bench press, that quickly leveled the neck straight.
@@GitaraMaker looks like something that can take half of your hand in a split second 😁😁
Can you make a guitar for me in future .
Right now I'm not selling, but in the future I'll sell some that I build here.
@@GitaraMaker ok, from which country are you
@@Anjali-y5i6s I'm from the Philippines 🇵🇭
How did you fail?
It's the resin cracks and bubbles, I almost scratched the guitar project because of that. Resin is so expensive so I continued to finish it, maybe it might still look good in the end.
zebrano neck?
hi, .. I'm one of your Filipino fans, .. I ask for help to have my own guitar and to use in the church I hope you notice and help me
It will be a pity if we'd forget how to make those...
How much is it for one guitar like this?
Thanks for inquiring. Right now I'm not selling these guitars, I might sell some in the future. But if I have to estimate, this type of guitar might be around a $1,000.

A Filipino?
Can you make a guitar out of a chessboard?
That would be cool!
