      I remember yelling at my husband for wanting to go outside. But man, quarantines didn't work and being cooped up inside made it so bad for people's mental and physical health. I was so depressed and weak. Imagine I was still ordering stuff online anything from household items to food. People still touched all that stuff, I wasn't any "safer".

      .. the only people that say that don't understand the point of quarantine. A huge spike in people suddenly having a life threatening disease, the hospitals couldn't take it. Quarantining helped mellow things out so a lot of people who got sick later on were actually able to get treatment, instead of just dying in their homes. It was never about fully containing the disease, it was about minimizing the death toll.
