This is why you are my favourite walker. I lived in this part of London for very many years and I know all the main streets but have never seen the lovely mews houses before. Thank you for another wonderful stroll.
Hello Sanpo Nice walk. We love the Little Venice area. Where you started the video, you turned to the right but if you hard turn left there is a palm tree which I took a picture of Sandra standing under. I am always amazed by the number palm trees in London. Remember you video that showed the world famous Playboy club, i found a video you fine interesting on youtube by British Pathe about the Playboy Bunnies of London in the 60s. Take Care Chris and Sandra of Canada.
Hello Chris and Sandra. I don't remember seeing the palm tree in Little Venice. Next time I am in that area I will have a better look. Thank you for the British pathe video suggestion. I will check it out.
This video popped up on my RUclips feed and I've been browsing some of your videos with interest. When I saw that you show many side streets and non-tourist areas I decided to subscribe and enjoy watching more of your videos. Thank you.
Thank you for all the walking videos. It's nice to watch while we cannot travel. If possible, could you do some more videos of supermarkets and shopping in London? :)
Spring is coming, masks are fading! Yummy things to eat, wonderful buildings...merci beaucoup Sanpo for this relaxing, colourful and positive video! Spring greetings from Berne:)
Thank you Sanpo, this is an area I know very well. I have a collection of Victorian Topographical street photos of it and little much of it is the same with the exception that the houses are better maintained. I me many famous people when I worked there and had friends who lived there.
I hate to be the one to inform you that you didn’t actually go to Maida Vale. You needed to go north, another few blocks and then to Paddington recreation area. I would love to see a walk that goes down Hamilton Terrace and then down St. John’s Wood Road and then turns down Lisson Grove. Lisson Grove is a great place to walk and then stop and have the best fish and chips in the world at seashells on Lisson Grove. From there you head to a train station on Marlebone, where they filmed scenes for Downton Abbey. Would also like to see where the old US Embassy was at Grovenors square. Please do Regents Park, Kensington Gardens and Hyde park. I watch you while I do my treadmill. Thank you! I love your channel!
How surprising to come across an un-gentrified mews house. I remember when they were all like that. It doesn’t seem so long ago but being 83years old I suppose I’ve lived quite a long time. I do like your videos and share your curiosity. It’s a pity you can’t people watch as well but I realise that’s not possible.
Please, please, please, do another walk from the shops on Clifton Gardens, down Saint Johns wood Road; to Lords cricket ground to St. John’s Church into the gardens where there is a children’s playground right on top of an old cemetery! Then walk to Primrose Hill, but cross the street and do a walk-through Regents Park. Also, may I suggest a walk from Victoria station on a Sunday, it’s important it’s on a Sunday; walk from Victoria station to Westminster abbey go through Parliament Square walk down, Whitehall: to trafalgar Square, up through the Square by the national portrait gallery, and in Saint Martin in the Fields church, then turn and go through the arch, and then walk down the mall to Buckingham Palace. I used to walk that every Sunday! I attended church on Buckingham Gate at Westminster chapel it’s a great building and then went shopping at the Buckingham Palace shop. It’s a wonderful walk.
so yawn worthy - you seem to have lost the thread - you are walking in a city - what is a city but its people - empty residential areas are not interesting in the least - though i can see the worth for those that are watching to fall asleep to - made it to the 15:00 mark myself before switching to a "prowalk tours" video for some human "contact"
Thank you for watching. It is difficult to find the crowds of people on a cold winters day and during a lockdown. With Spring ariving hopefully more people will be venturing out.
Not everyone needs to see humans; I found it very interesting and in fact I prefer this kind of walk (residential) over walks through crowded hotspots.
Please turn on the closed caption if you would like to see street names and other information as we walk.

Really nice! I especially like the map! How do you do your map animation? Is it PowerPoint?
Thanks! I use JavaScript to generate the map and animation then put it into video editing software.
@@sanpostroll2107 Thats very interesting! Thanks! Then I need to find such a JavaScript, it would be very helpful for my presentations at university.

How come you moved from Japan to London?
I came to London to study a long time ago!
All that time looking at food, drink and the menu suggests this walk was done while hungry.
Absolutely!
That one is wating on a renovation.

Little covid,no one wearing masks.on boris,s doorstep!
How come no one in London wears mask? Watch Paris strolls too. They wear masks. As we do in states.
Ideas?
Thanks
