This season, Ajax celebrates its 125th anniversary. Since there is no future without history, the jubilee will kick off with a match between Ajax Legends and Real Madrid Legends. This gala match will take place on Sunday, November 17, at 3:30 PM in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. All proceeds will go to the Ajax Foundation.
The Ajax Legends squad, coached by Louis van Gaal, currently includes Danny Blind, Edwin van der Sar, Siem de Jong, Frank and Ronald de Boer, Aron Winter, Sjaak Swart, and Jari Litmanen. The Real Madrid Legends will be represented by players such as Iker Casillas, Christian Karembeu, Paco Pavón, Raúl Bravo, and Steve McManaman.
