Theres a difference between a credit score of 300 to 629. if you knew somebody and there between the ages of 46 to 53 and they have a credit score between 300 to 375 what card would you suggest they have 0 cards they want to build their credit they like to shop at Burlington , walmart , target and old Navy. no bank would give anybody a card even if it has a 1,000 limit somebody could book airline tickets, stays at the Ritz carlton , waldorf and pay very little on the other hand somebody could charge 30.00 at say Bath and body works a restaurant and pay it back. what card would you suggest ?
I guess not be accepted outside of states could be a pro, if your truly just using this for credit building. Less chance of info being stolen out of country to make purchases?

Just add your child as a authorized user and don't give them a card. You can help them this way as well.
This is a good strategy for parents with good credit. Otherwise, you will hurt the child's score.

Discover card is not used everywhere in the US there some Merchants That won’t take discover I had one before
