- My good friend, Twitch streamer, filmmaker and RUclipsr friend Deanabean was owns a 2010 R56 Mini JCW hot hatch and was kind enough to let us film it for the day!
Personally I've been hugely impressed by the R56 Mini JCW, with impressive power, great handling and over achieving MPG on motorway drives it's definitely an underrated beast that can take on cars far bigger than itself.
If you're in the market for a small hot hatch that overperforms and doesn't break the bank it's definitely worth looking at!

For long distance driving make sure you're comfortable in the car and take breaks (like getting yourself a coffee) as fairly regularly. Motorway driving is safer than normal roads so I wouldn't worry too much, just make sure you get your quick shoulder checks in before you change lane and look down the road to check for stopped traffic :)

Yeah mate I got a Daewoo Matiz, got a 1200w sub in the back and it has black hub caps!

My trip computer was having fun on the way down and shitting itself on the way back.
Interesting to see how the MPG can change.
Used Cruise Control each way so the car did its own work.
Goes to show how gradient effects MPG :D
50MPG on average for that Mini is awesome though.

Does anybody agree with me that the mini looks much better stance wise when it's lowered in such a way to try and ensure the bottom sill angle with the ground is reduced from stock angle? My R56 JCW is lowered on KW coilovers, and dropped 30mm on all 4 corners, so there is still the default angle between the sill and the ground, which personally I dislike. My question is can you reduce this angle and for the car to remain functional? I guess the back needs to be lowered more than the front to acieve this look, is this done by peeps out there???? Cheers ma dears.

Wouldn't be surprised if it had had the resonators removed, but most of the car is pretty much stock yeah!
