I know your heart lies with ancient Egyptian times. I am curious if you ever looked into or visited the Cahokia mounds here state side. I am fascinated by it. Yet it seems that it has been overshadowed by bigger finds else where in the world. I'd love to learn more about the mounds.

The final analysis of that vase is something that is truly novel. Looking at artifacts through the lense of encoded messages as opposed to artisanal practical purposes may be the breakthrough of the century. If these things were designed with a computer or something similar, there may be actual language we can decipher from them. Maybe we can figure out how they were actually sculpted, info about the creators, specific createdDate, etc.. my imagination is going a bit wild, maybe we can use AI to find patterns across different civilizations or artifacts connecting them together. Exciting times.

@@jasonj4865 But they do and did for these guys that’s how they got this one. Obviously there are some exhibits they have to treat as sterile. I saw the statue of St Peter in the Vatican…St Peter’s Basilica. His foot which is at shoulder height was worn down by human touch alone. Look that up on google for Moh’s scale confusion which is nonsensical in many cases.
If you have a good idea it should be bulletproof against criticism. Therefore, genuinely try to find info that debunks Unchartered X. What have you got to lose except for your fun Indiana Jones theory on secret ancient aliens….sorry, advanced ancient Egyptians. I agree with you, it is so interesting and great evidence. I saw one critique from an academic, his criticisms of Ben's work were weak and pedantic. Ben and his fellows have done solid work that directs to some startling conclusions.
Criticism is nothing but jealousy and a way to bring themselves into the spotlight, don't let someone without an original thought sway your opinion...
I'm shocked there's no one out there trying to recreate this vase to show how complicated it would be even today
I believe that’s precisely why no one is trying to replicate these artefacts… they can’t do it so they don’t bother. They can continue to dismiss the logic of people like Ben that way.

Please Ben, never ever stop doing this. You're doing a service not just to us listeners, but to humanity itself. I believe that recovering from our historical "amnesia" and uncover that long forgotten past and glory and achievements, and its implications, both factual, cultural and spiritual, is what us, modern humans, need to re-establish purpose and dignity. That is what many staring into the emptiness of space ever wonder. This is "that" empty space within us that must be filled again.

Thank you Ben! This is HUGE! As a previous machinist I know that obtaining micrometers of precicion in metals is a challenge. But to obtain radial perfection in the ways you describe and analyze from that vase is close to impossible, for us lesser beings of modern era.
Fantastic presentation. I've had many discussions about this with my grandfather who was an engineer on the voyager program. Sadly he passed last week but he would have loved to see this. It's truly a fascinating time we're living in and I can't wait to see the results of the other objects. My sincere thanks to the collectors graciously allowing their irreplaceable artifacts to be examined.

Wow ! Finally someone addresses the vast disparity between T pillars and veritable rubble that forms enclosures. I have no doubt this was found and rebuilt or repurposed
they should lift up a few of the standing T pillars and carbon date test the material underneath. seems easy enough.

This was amazing! And to be honest, those vases keep me up at night as well, probably now more than ever. The idea that they are like golden records send through time instead of space is brilliant. But also the fact that they are vessels puts another layer of symbology and some hint of spiritual ideas ontop of the scientifical knowledge that the ancient builders left for us to discover.

Ben - a short comment on the 'scooping' to remove cracks. I think I have mentioned this before elsewhere. I worked on F-111s for ~15 years. Much of my job as an engineer with the brittle steel (yes steel, 240-260 ksi) was to do this very thing - remove the sharp stress concentration of cracks / crack tips with a much larger radius hole (relatively) or a blending out. This type of repair work (actually removing material) is not necessary for static loading so much as dynamic loading. IOW this is fatigue / fracture preventative maintenance. This is only necessary if there is unrelieved stress in the part and / or it will be used dynamically as a moving part with cycles of repeated stress. IOW this lends itself to considert some use for these boxes etc that involve some kind of cyclical loading.
@benberube4562 Fatigue cracking is all post production. It is initiated by cyclical loading (a good example is the cracking along rivet lines in aluminum aircraft fuselage skins due to cabin pressurization cycles). Once it starts the only way to stop it is reduce the stress concentration in one way or another or replace the item.
Cracking may have shown up during the manufacturing process of these granite boxes. Regardless if it occurred then or during some cyclical loading after the method to salvage the investment is the same - remove the stress concentration.
I wanted to add that blending out these cracks in the stone (these scoop marks appear random with no artistic purpose) would make no sense unless the point was to prevent crack propagation - which implies some planned cyclical loading usage. There certainly isn't induced stresses from heating / cooling cycles down in the Serapeum and once the intial internal static stress is relieved the crack won't grow.

Well done Ben! The study of those vases is the biggest evidence regarding the presence of an advanced technological society in prehistory. Would love to strap Zawhii and Lehner down, Clockwork Orange style, and make them view this.
Amazing work and brilliant presentation Ben. I work with CNC machines, and Hexagon and Leica Laser tracker verification machines in the factory, and i can tell you we can´t make a master piece like this vase with this level of precission on single block of Alluminium, S355J2 or C45 steel block. I can´t imagine who could did this master piece thousands of years ago on this material. Love your work and cannot wait for more. Thanks
You could make it. It would just take a 5-axis machine and it would have to be done in 2 ops. The hard part is trying to work through the small mouth of the jar opening b/c the middle of the vase is much larger than the mouth. If the opening is too small then you don't have clearance to sufficiently tilt the vase to make the largest inside feature.
The exterior features would be fairly simple.
I run a Tsugami swiss machine at work. I could make the outside profile and drill an ID hole in the part. I couldn't finish the inside though b/c of the shape. You need 5-axis milling and very long extended tool holders to do it.
@@oldscratch3535 Yes, i agree. The difficult i see is finishing the interior with a decent surface. The largest tool means worst finished surface. Maybe with other tools we don´t have at work at this moment.

It's mind boggling when you start to realize: this entire scope of ancient history and related fields is just as secretive as black-op military UAP research. Which tells me both may be equally important.
According to Bob Lazar (who is not the most reliable source, to be sure) one of the advanced, possibly extraterrestrial vehicles the USA has locked up in some black vault was literally dug up in an archaeological dig.
A guy named Joseph P. Farrell, the world's wildest science not-quite-fiction writer (I don't know how much of his work I believe but then neither does he, and he's very clear when he is speculating; nevertheless, he has a knack for finding anomalous news stories and evidence with wild implications) speculates that the Great Pyramid is the shell of a machine capable of generating and manipulating superluminal energy waves.
The evidence he adduces is very interesting, if not totally convincing. That said, the pure stone Egyptian pyramids do not resemble structures meant for humans to move in and out of save at necessity. The internal chambers and the entire site's precision resembles a damn industrial compound/machine.

Excellent presentation Ben, I've had to say, some of your presentation has given me goosebumps. Maybe it's because I've reach some of the same conclusions myself, when I think of all of the precision and math calculations needed to produce these artifacts or build Pyramids with such precision...
Speaking of precision, that vase shows incredibly fine work but if you stop to think for a moment it becomes even more astounding, the finished dimensions are after fine polishing !
That means that whatever tools were used to cut it to shape were not the same tools that were used to achieve the very fine surface finish that we see and therefore the item was rough cut oversize then polished to the final intended dimensions. No tools cut hard stone to that level of fine detail, that is only achieved from polishing and hand polishing does not produce such accuracy, so not only was it designed mathematically and cut incredibly accurately it was fine polished to the final dimension which means they allowed for that in the design !
I also find it unfathomable to figure out how anything like that level of accuracy and detail could possibly be achieved without hardened ball bearings and roller bearings and high speed tools ! Before we had high quality bearings our machinery was not capable of working to such fine tolerances, plain bushings wear quickly and are just not capable of such fine work especially in hard stone. By the time a single vase was completed in granite a plain bushing would not be capable of the accuracy it had when it was fresh and certainly couldn't be accurate to a few thousandths of an inch even when new ! Soft metal bushings have a little 'give' in them and no matter how skilled the operator was he couldn't achieve that type of consistently accurate work, that is only possible with hardened roller bearings !
The more you look into that vase, the more incredible it gets !
You are absolutely right, also the tool wear would be a problem you'd have to factor in...
@@ianc4901 the micrometer wasn't invented for another 4000+ years so they would've had a way to measure how much material was being removed that was outside the limits of human touch and sight, in order to maintain a consistent tolerance throughout the piece.
@@AustinKoleCarlisle They didn't have hardened steel roller bearings either (as far as we know) and without them they couldn't have achieved such fine tolerances.
The deeper you look the more interesting these artifacts get, they certainly raise more questions than expected !
@@ianc4901 these objects could've been traded to the Egyptians. it's an assumption (by nearly all of us) that they must've been created *in* Egypt. the sea level rose 400 ft in the last 16,000 years, with the majority of that between 8k and 16k years ago. nearly every major civilization between 8000 and 100,000 YBP would've been covered by this rise in sea level.
Incredible work brilliant presentation and unquestionable evidence that the established story of ancient history is fraught with massive errors and a multitude of various out out of place artifacts that are bursting the bubble.

great work again ,its probably such a cliche to established academia but the keys for understanding any of these `technologies' that you speak of is an open mind ,a mind more powerful than we can imagine, a mind power only used for positive impact upon the world and fellow man.The caves in India also exhibit unfathomable precision to modern understanding . I love Ben ever since I saw him spoear on Joe Rogan podcast. Him along with Randall Carlson have really changed my world view on our history, and I hope more people open their minds to more possibilities as well. History as we know it is very limited, as well as our science.

i deeply hope, that during my lifetime, there will be more people like you and we move from the "old school" education. this is soooo clear, some other civilisation made statues and pyramids, than they try to tell us. i deeply hope, to find out more!

You have done a remarkeble job introducing and then revealing the research you have initiated on these vases. You did not stop just repeating earlier researchers, you have gone beyond. I guess that has something to do with your training and experience with complex computer system design. I am looking forward to updates on your research project. Great stuff.

Studying ancient past should be our civilization priority. Whatever ended creators of those miracle artifacts could end us one day. There is wisdom to be discovered, which combined with our technological prowess could bring defense mechanisms and prosperity beyond imagination. I hope policymakers and wealthy visionaries will understand this during my lifetime. My dream is to see some movement into this direction.

It's hard to imagine why there'd be any real need to manufacture an object with no moving parts such a this vase to such an impressive level of precision. It suggests that imperceivable precision was child's play to who ever produced it.
Maybe this is the reason we don't see any decorations on these vases and other objects as they were inherently valued because the shapes they had were tied to a higher value in mathematical precision and sacred geometry.
We do amazing precision every day as well, just in a very different way.
