I recently received one or two requests to play "That's the Way it is" from Red Dead Redemption 2 Seeing as though I'm currently on my second playthrough I thought I'd have a go at covering this beautiful little song. It's most notably played during the final mission as Arthur rides back to camp one final time.

I finished the game, and for the first time in my life, I regret having done it, if I had known what would happen to Arthur, one of the most human characters there has been, I would have preferred to leave it unfinished, now listen to your piano version , it makes me cry and it does not hurt, it burns me.

If anyone is wondering if this game is worth playing....well it is but you have to have a lot of time to put in this game because there is a lot and i mean it, a lot of things to do.

Im not gonna lie.
When i was at the last mission with arthur i didnt even know it was gonna be the end.
And when arthur died i was like
"No...youre lying right?"
Lets just say his death got me by surprise.
I remember how Arthur fell off his horse. I thought some medical attention could heal him but after he said" you got tuberculosis, sorry son it's a hell of a thing." I knew it was the end.
I really wanted to save him.

Every main song perfectly describes the moment. “See the fire in your eyes” shows they went through troubles but they were then past that. “Unshaken” was in a way Arthur questioning himself how he went on the path he did. And this song....this song...he was come to terms to the bad deeds he’s done and wants to fix it. That’s the way it is.
Well to correct some of those. Unshaken means that through all these troubles and adventures he went through he comes out of it unshaken. And that's the way it is is Arthur coming into terms that he has done bad deeds and he has to face up to the consequences like a man. Knowing he has to die and that's just how life is.

Kinda weird I cried less at my grandmas funeral, Arthur... it felt like losing a close friend, a brother, a man who never ever wronged you and it felt so sad they should make this into a book because that is one that I would read maybe one that is a prequel to everything
What the rockstar created as the main character of arthur is something incredible, no other games succeeded.
I cant believe my Arthur died 7 months ago. My memories of that man, they still pure. A legend was born that day that we will never forget.

What's sadder is that in the end the government just wouldn't leave John alone. What Arthur wanted was his family to grow happy, but in just the next 3 years after finally settling down john is hunted down to death

Hell, is this even a game?
Man this was a rough time. I had Buell during this and I swear I hated that horse but kept him in honor of the veteran dude plus despite being hard to control and stupid at first, he was a tank of a horse. I just finally started to really like him and we got a level 4 bond when this mission came up. His death made it so much more difficult because I feel like extra work was put into him. I plan to wait till after this mission to get him if I can. That way it’ll be a horse that Arthur knew well and John will be able to truly ride in memory of Arthur rather than finding a horse similar to the one he had before.
