In the year 1974 my dad Roy Handziuk wrote a song for his brother when he passed away after falling off a six story building, years later I found a cassette tape that had my dad singing this song, so I decided to learn it on the piano, then when I showed it to my dad he asked “how did you hear about this song”, and I told him and I responded “I listened to the tape”, and my dad asked again and said “what tape”, so when I played him back the blank tape, he was thrilled about listening back to the tape to his song he wrote. I played it since without learning the words, my dad video himself singing this song four months before he passed away from cancer, and I learned the words and I started to sing this song by learning the words to this song. I thought I should show the audience during the open mic performance a song that my dad wrote. I hope you will all enjoy this version as much as I did enjoy singing it for you all.
