Vlan configuration and routing
If you created several vlan on you Cisco switch and you cannot ping computers in other VLANs this video help you to to configure your small business switch sg300 and SG 350 series at the end of this video you will be able to active layer 3 mode, create vLAN , add port and create VLAN interface IP and routine between multiple vlans and the internet gateway
Fantastic video! I'm going to probably watch this a dozen times this week. I was banging my head all day yesterday trying to get VLANs working on my SG300 with Pfsense. I did know you needed to add the IP's and the static route. I hope this helps. Thanks for posting this.

This video could have been so much more than it was by simply adding some narration. Most people that are watching a video like this (myself included) are not just bored with nothing better to do, we are generally trying to fill a gap in our knowledge. Watching someone click around the screen while playing repetitive music gets old real fast. A few spoken lines of I am doing this and I'm doing that for this reason, takes a mundane video and makes it into an ah-ha teaching moment. I would strongly urge you to redo this video by muting the music track and just recording your own vocal track to go with it. Even if you aren't the worlds greatest presenter, it would be infinitely more useful than music playing in the background distracting you while you try to learn. Ordinarily I give any video without speech an automatic thumbs down, but this video actually looked informative if you can stomach the annoying music and lack of narration.
English narration may not be easy for all. Just like music, unfamiliar accents can be distracting as well. I muted the music and watched a few times, and I found it quite informative.

Are you able to acess internet from your second vlan
Since sg350/300 doesn't have nat function.Most home router doesn't have nat(not port forwarding) function too.

I am in the middle of a Test Out Lab, Comptia Network+ Lab 7.2.4. I am following to the letter the instructions but I am finding that Mgmt Interface is not simulated and there is no drop down option of IPv4., is there a work-around? Mgmt Interface is not even active/simulated for this lab. The lab is Configure Switch IP and VLAN - GUI. ANY HELP WOULD BE AMAZING!! Thank you!

I just watched ur video. I am going to attempt to recreate settings to my cisco sg300 28p. My current issue is no internet to any ports and i have not been able to set this switch up properly to do so. I really needed a dummy switch but this was free and its been nothing but a pain. Not even sure what ports to plug into what. Pc is currently in port 1 and router in port 2. Can i set the switch to an un-managed setting? I am connecting some cameras and a NVR (which will find the ip's of the cameras not matter what they are) also some smart t.v's. this is all for home net use running through a Night Hawk R7000.
By default the switch is on layer 2. And all port are member of VLAN :1
Be sure ur pc and router have same IP range.you may need manual ip on the pc if router have disabled dhcp.

@@mydailyit2290 thank you for the reply. It's up and running. Just had to change the ports from trunk to access and everything took off from there
@@mydailyit2290 My issue was with the NVR system. Fixed ( after more understanding of what i was working with) end up that the cameras on lan all had the same ip from the factory. Thank you for the reply's and the helpful video
@@mydailyit2290 i need your reply on urgent basis, i am using sg-300-10mpp switch 20 in quantity, i have 4 vlans in this network Now, i want to communicate 2 vlan at main switch SG-300-28 SFP and at this switch i need one port which can communicate with both vlan because i have to attach this port with a server kindly guide me i am waiting your reply ?
