I love when you pump out a video about a Samsung laptop! i have the older notebook 9 pro 13-inch laptop and I absolutely love it!!! it still holds up today IMO, especially for clip studio/drawing. I bought it secondhand with maxed-out specs at an amazing price so I'm happy with my laptop. For drawing, I'm definitely getting a huion tablet!

I have the pro 360 15.6" (last yr model), and I dropped it from a bed tray (from my bed), on the floor when it was fully open, it literally had a TINY like ultra tiny scuff on the edge of the laptop, which is pretty unnoticeable. I think it's pretty durable considering it fell from 1.2m whilst being open.

Thank you for the very good review.
If you wanted significantly more battery life and no hot air from the fans which are battery killers, you could just activate the fanless mode which this device offers. And fanless means really fanless. It would throttle the CPU, but would remain definitly powerful enough for your drawing apps.
Just in case you needed more performance for whatever reason, you could just activate one of the other 3 modes.
Note: I'm talking about Samsung's own performance modes/settings.

Thank you for this review. I currently have a Galaxy Book Go which is their cheapest model. It has the Snapdragon processor running Win11. Got it for $150 bucks through Qualcomm's insider program. No frills, kind of lousy screen, but perfect for surfing, email, youtube, runs DEX with my S22u, and the battery is really good. I throw it in the saddlebag of my motorcycle on trips, and it's been extremely reliable. Looking to upgrade to this 13.5" Book2 Pro 360. I really miss having a touch screen, and a better quality screen.

Something to note about the S pen and wacom tech. You can use the pen from the Wacom One (the one with the screen) on all samsung pen devices, as the tech is the same (4k pressure rather than the 8k on more expensive cintiqs). So if anyone wants a bigger pen you should give it a go. (I have not tested the wacom one pen on this laptop, but it works fine on Samsung tab S6 and 7)

Great review! Thanks! I'm really considering this, or the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio
A Photoshop question (now I know that this is going to sound dumb) I always struggle with colouring my art in Photoshop. I always have to create a layer underneath my line art and zoom in so that the lines are huge and colour just to/just behind the line, around the edges so that I can colour in the rest without worrying. I know that isn't the best strategy.... How do you colour your works? I saw that you could just colour within the lines... I have Photoshop 2020, I'd really like to improve my colouring technique as it would save me hours....
    Thanks!

Hi Brad, thank you very much for all the videos you make. I have a question, how well does Samsung second screen work with the B2P360? I currently have a Tab S6 and am keen on upgrading JUST for that second screen, but I haven't seen any videos talking about it (e.g. drawing on the Book and using the Tab Second Screen as a reference or something). Since both the B2P360 and the Tab S8 you reviewed come with their own styluses, how does working with such an ecosystem work? Like say if you were a game dev doing coding/prototyping I can imagine the combination of Windows laptop + Second Screen to be really useful on the go since one screen can be for the code while the other is for the prototype preview window, and then if you need to scribble changes during meetings with other teammates or make art adjustments you can like just throw your tablet/laptop to the artist directly or something? Is that even practical? Thank you so much if you/anyone can provide some useful insight on this

Samsung had a great deal last year on the 13" i7, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD for $940.49 and I got a Rose Gold Galaxy Watch 4 for my wife for only $37.49 as a bundle deal... Which included a $110 trade in deal of my old Note 8 which was just taking up room in my sock drawer...
    I have a Dell 9370 2-in-1 4K, i7 (10th gen) w/16GB RAM, so I was thinking the Pro Book 360 could be its replacement...
I was so terribly mistaken on so many different levels... I was pretty shocked.
The Dell is SO superior to the PB 360 in almost everything except weight, keyboard backlight brightness and S-Pen...
The 16 x10 screen on the Dell makes for a huge difference, that giant bezel on the chin of the 16 x9 PB 360, just is so disappointing. Plus the brightness is noticeably dimmer on the PB 360 (glad to see they made it brighter this year). Also, the lower screen resolution is VERY noticeable to me as compared to the Dell's and even my S7+.
The finish on the PB 360 (Mystic Navy) is the worst fingerprint magnet I've ever seen, after an hour the finish looked like a cloudy mess with only light handling.
The webcam is so laughably bad it's comical. The Dell's isn't great either but it's way better than the PB 360's. It's great that Samsung updated the webcam to 1080p this year.
The S-Pen is fantastic. As an S7+ user and a 30+ year Graphic Artist, I honestly think it's the best stylus on any platform. The Dell's pen is good, just not as GREAT as the S-Pen.
I ended up getting a return on the PB 360, which brought my wife's watch price back up to $200 and killed my trade-in discount... Which was understandable.
If Samsung could make some adjustments to the screen size ratio and make it the same resolution as the S7+ (and 120 Hz) and put some sort of coating of the body to reduce fingerprints, I would definitely consider buying it again.
    Thanks for reading.

I think these are the best laptops for non GPU users right now.

2-in-1 360 engineers should have Lenovo c940 15" laptops as standard issue when they receive a new hire kit. Primary directive: make it at least this good. We're way too far into the game to have untenable screen wobble and autoclosing lids.
Samsung is always so close to perfect with their devices. Still one of the best options out there, though. Good to see them making a solid device instead of kinda relying on the s-pen experience to get items shipped.

For when it's in tablet mode, if you want some shortcut keys you have a few options. One is an Elgato Stream Deck
But that's the expensive overkill version.
There are Stream Deck alternatives, including a few solutions that let you use your phone or tablet as a Stream Deck.
Now Stream Deck-type-devices aren't just for streaming. You can use them to launch apps, websites, and to run keyboard macros (like CTRL+S or CTRL+N etc) which can save you time and frustration with any touchscreen laptop.

The krita problem is easely solved when you change your pen settings in the krita app. I also havnt got any problems with the build quality, but that may be just a thing on bratts device. Also ik not sure if its the same build, but the Fan is actually pulling air in from the back and pushing it out down at the bottom.

Also, I put mine into silent mode and almost never hear the fans while drawing (there is a bit of lag, but it's negligible while drawing), and when i want to do anything like emulation, I turn back on performance mode, depending on the emulator.

I ended up paying less than 1K before taxes. Pretty good deal. I will probably end up selling that monitor on ebay for 100 bucks or something for even more savings.
Word of warning: the multicore performance on the 13" is, apparently, fairly bad . Benchmarks suggest that the 15 inch performs alot better since it is (a) bigger and (b) has two internal fans instead of 1. Also the Lenovo 9i (with the same processor) outperforms both. Still, for the price I paid, its worth it even if the multicore performance is a bit subpar.

The battery life is okay but nowhere ever does it ever last 20 hours nor anywhere near it, but I don't work on it for 20 hours at one time anyway, so no complaints. I use it for drawing and graphic design, so it serves its purpose. A few questions about this device, and a comment:
    The questions:
    a) Is the integrated Iris XE graphics sufficient for Photoshop CC, or is a dedicated graphics card required?
    b) Does it support a second display or graphics tablet (Wacom Cintiq 16) w/o problems?
    c) The driver for the S-Pen (Windows Ink) is not compatible with Photoshop CS6 (no pen pressure). WinTab is compatible with PS CS6 (enables pen pressure), but not compatible with the S-Pen. Does anybody know of any alternative driver with which the S-Pen (or an alternative stylus) could be used in Photoshop CS6 on this device?
    And the comment:
Both the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360 Pro and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio are tempting. Both have their pros and cons. The biggest con of the new Microsoft Surface devices for me is that the pen technology has not quite caught up to Wacom/Samsung S-Pen/Apple Pencil. I´ve experienced skipped lines/dots doing fine detail work with very light touch on the Microsoft SP 8 (more in PS CS6, less in Clip Studio Paint). This does not seem to happen with the S-Pen (lower initial activation force). I´m curious for input from anybody with experience with both pen technologies to what extend this has influenced their buying decision.

Freehand illustration I use my tablet. The guy is killing me with the fan noise. He really needs to adjust his performance settings. I'm on my 360 sometimes 8 hrs, only time I notice the fan is when charging and rendering video. Trade off, that's funny cause I have zero tolerance for under performance equipment. This laptop is smooth as butter, highly optimized and I rarely notice it while using it the work flow is so smooth.

I got the 15 inch 16gb with 1Tb , it does some annoying things: : you already mentioned all the quirkiness in your video review. I thought it can’t be that bad because you still approved it. I bought this book2 Yesterday😂.
So, I’ll just mention my issue when I have it in full tablet the when I’m drawing on Adobe and lift my pen then the tab scrolling to move the picture will scroll up. It is reading my palm even if the box is check. And There’s this flickering likes it loading.
When I try to use the pen to access items(pens, color, etc) it won’t stay open. so I have a mouse connected by cable to access the items. Good part of using a mouse when it scrolls up by my palm then I can use the roller on the mouse to scroll down the picture. - I hope they have an update to fix the palm rejection & then pen using to open items.
Drawing on it is fine minus the annoying quirks.
