  • I've re-uploaded this ( • Passacaglia and Fugue ... ) because the new time limit for videos allowed me to combine the Passacaglia and Fugue into one video.
Johann Sebastian Bach's Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor BWV 582 played by organist Hans-André Stamm on the Trost-Organ in Waltershausen, Germany.

This is pure music. It is not meant to be danced to or accompany voice, only to be listened to. My heart can only take so much.

Your playing, sir, is superb. (Supposing it was yourself who uploaded the video.) You seem to have struck just the right tempo, and, importantly, play both parts of the piece as a coherent whole, with no break between the passacaglia and the fugue. I have some nagging doubts about this organ, though. Some of the deeper bass passages sound a bit rough. But - I just close my eyes and imagine you playing at St Bavo, OR, Auckland Town Hall, NZ, where there is now a regal Klais organ of noble size.

@peteacher52 The performer is the renowned Hans Andre Stamm, and I highly doubt that he himself has a youtube account :D
