    Madame LPS, thanks so much for your post. I have been in love with this project for months. Due to another ongoing and large committment to a baby blanket, I could put it aside. Well, the day came when the baby blanket was done, I tried a few small washclothes for practice, finished a scarf for my daughter, and at last, I could no longer deny Frog and Toad!
    I am new to knitting, just about a year and a half in now...and was overwhelmed by the challenge of a project recommended for a more advanced knitter. But, as we all know, the only way to gain skills is to try something more difficult. Usually, I think we fall in love with a product and the drive to make it gives us the courage to face the challenges. Seeing your final project has given me courage (I'm only on the head of my first creation; I decided to start with Frog) and your willingness to share your successes AND fails is inspiring me.
    Great videos, keep up the inspiring work. Much love and happy creating to you and yours...Danette

    The pattern says to *k1, M1R, knit to the marker, M1L, sm; repeat from * once more. 4 stitch increase.

      This is not clear but I think you have one marker at the beginning of the round which is one side of the frog and another marker on the other side of the frog. So you have an increase then a knit stitch and another increase on each side of the frog. It starts to look like a sock toe with increases on each side if you knit toe up.

    Did you have to cut a hole in the eye? Someone said the pattern calls for cutting, but I can't imagine doing that! These are on my list to knit, for sure!

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  2 года назад

      Yep. You do cut a hole for the eyes. It was terrifying!! 😱 But the pattern is so well written and it all works out in the end! 🐸

    “Frog and toad” was my childhood, tho i didn’t read it in English, i read it in Spanish (it’s called “Sapo y Sepo” in Spanish)

    How long did these take to make? Beginning to end?

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  2 года назад +2

      Hmmm, I made these a while ago, but I think it took me about 3-4 weeks to make them both. They were one of the most challenging projects I've ever knit. But I love how they turned out! Good luck!! 💚💚

      Hello! I am unable to make a tutorial for the frogs because this isn't my own pattern. The pattern is very well written and you can now find the crocheted version as well! 💚
