    Thank you so much...in the past I have made some knitted toys, and even got my husband to make a pair of metal half moon spectacles for an old fashioned bear. It is true that the features ' make or break' the project, and it is why I have a few toys left unfinished. But you have inspired and enabled me to get them out and finish the faces, with new techniques! So appreciated! Thank you.

    This video is just so useful. It would be really helpful to make a similar video for crochet amigurumi. In particular which yarns you use for skin tones, I always find it so tricky finding fleshy tones that aren't too beige or too orange!

    Such a lovely video again, Elise! I just love looking at your knitted toys, they're all so beautiful! I desperately need to make some Little Cotton Rabbits toys too. I would be very interested to see a similar video discussing yarns you love for crocheting, I'm much less experienced with that and for example crocheting with a strand of mohair sounds hard, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

    I just discovered the dmc natura. i love love it so much even though it splits. the bright colors are the best. i also like how it does not have any shine because of the matte finish.

    Ahh this video further fuels my yarn obsession! There are so many I want to try, and I just ordered Vanishing Fleece as an audiobook-it looks so good! Have you ever used the PicaPau brand of yarn? I've just started using it, the colours are really beautiful :)

    I absolutely love your channel Elise! I know you posted this video a while ago but I have been watching some of your videos again! I was wondering - how long does it take you to knit one of the little cotton rabbit bunnys? I am going to buy some of her patterns soon as they are absolutely gorgeous! I am mainly a crocheter but I have been knitting a bear from Val Pierces' knitted bears books, it is my first knitted amigurumi toy! Xx

    I would love to use the recommended yarns, but they are extremely expensive, and therefore the finished product is not really a toy as such

    Are amigurmi supposed to be able to stand mine are not. Help sue

      It actually just depends. Typically my knitted ones don't. The only ones that stand up on their own are a couple of my crocheted ones like the Pica Pau frog that has two very sturdy legs. A four legged toy also might be able to stand on its own if the legs are stuffed really firmly. Hope that helps. 💓

      Are you trying to do it on mobile? Sometimes I've seen that the box can be too low on mobile devices but I've never heard of an issue on a computer or tablet. Sorry you're having problems!
